I can almost hear all the men in Scotland stampeding south towards those hot Yorkshire broads.

When I was young, we used to dream of clouds. All we had was a damp teabag we'd hold above our heads once dad was done beating us before going to bed in the middle of a lake after working in a coal mine. And if you tell that to kids today, they'd not believe you.

That fourth picture looks like it should be an album cover. Led Zeppelin or Boston maybe. I am, of course, harkening back to the good old days when albums were on vinyl and had really cool art on the covers. And liner notes. I miss liner notes.

I'd see lenticular clouds occasionally over the mountains around Vegas. They're always pretty cool. Condensation caused by the warm air being pushed up by the slope of the mountain and hitting the cooler layer above.

Those are indeed pretty awesome ones.

Someone emailed me a link to a blog that covered this. The comments section was a wasteland of people fighting about whether the clouds were caused by (1) natural physical processes, (2) God, or (3) government weather-control. It made me want to hurt myself and others.

A couple weeks ago in Montana. First I'd ever seen. The 3D version is even cooler, but how many of you have the glasses?

GAT_00: I wish cameras would do stereo images for those of us who can see in stereo without the lens assistance.

Yes, as I can. But few others. People just give up or say that they can see the sailboat.

GAT_00: I wish cameras would do stereo images for those of us who can see in stereo without the lens assistance. No need for this 3D shiat.

Never have been able to do that, never will be. Hell I'm barely able to see at all...but I don't tell people that. Instead, I take the opportunity to fark with 'em. Tell 'em I'm seeing something else, what they're seeing is wrong, point it out to them on the picture, act frustrated...great fun.

Bwahahaa! I had a Christian friend post that picture on her Facebook page, to proclaim what an awesome god her God is. Someone finally told her, "Jenny, that picture's not what you think it is. The internet is a dark, dark place."

Thanks for posting that here.

Damn, Subby! You could have said something about it being NSFW. Good thing I'm home today. And aroused in privacy.
