Michelle's message is basically that children should eat better and play outside more. Isn't that the ultimate mom message? I can't count how many times my own mother told me to eat my peas, or to turn of the TV and go outside. I'm sure your own mothers were the same way.

And every first lady for as long as I can remember has had their own innocuous pet cause. Except maybe Hillary, because she was too busy working big time political issues, like a boss.

Yet somehow, a large block of Conservatives have decided that this is the worst thing anyone has done ever, and that Michelle Obama is lady Hitler. And of course, being Conservatives, they don't restrict their criticisms to her involvement. Their criticisms all seem to revolve around her appearance. Or that she's acting above her station (read uppity). Or that she's classless (wrong dress, fake hotel receipt).

The pathology is really weird.

Also, this may help her overall longevity and vocal health. Heavier weight=difficulty breathing=wearing out them golden pipes sooner than she'd like.

Sure, she's got great vocal power now, but she's also young and her body is able to fight harder and make it work. A weight loss for her would be a good career move.

That, of course, was when she was on her way to success. Now that she'shiat it big and has been certified by the media as a talent, the contrarians who make up this community are throwing her out with last week's garbage. We need a variation on the Pedobear macro: "Too Popular".

the comment was political in nature and had no business in this thread as it was an off hand political remark, regardless of the posters political affiliation. Other people have pointed out why it was unnecessary, so I shall not repeat them.

This will stand until y'all can provide proof that 1 Michelle Obama ass cheek is equal to one kate moss, and you can show that this amount of mass is indeed equal to the amount of mass lost by Ms. Adele,
