Why is it the President's responsibility to step in and moderate a legislative fight between the two houses? Cantor's MO is so farking obvious. Draw Obama in so he can start laying blame at the President's feet.

You have to question the GOP Congress for thinking that involving Obama will make them look better. If I was at 20% favourability, I wouldn't invite someone at 50% favourability to make me look better.

I don't know how he hasn't lost his job. Is there not a mid-session method for choosing a new Speaker? Or is it that Cantor doesn't want it?
