I have a Dallas Cowboys Marion Barber jersey that is slowly falling out of the gameday rotation. I really admired the guy when I got it (in his early career he was just a filthy power runner) and when I wear it now people don't say anything negative at all. But in the future, no more RB jerseys. QBs, maybe a Witten jersey... but WRs and QBs just go too fast in terms of career.

I guess it depends on if your friends are of the Bud Light commercial douche-tard variety or not. Wear whatever the hell you want. If one of my friends told me my jersey was a 2 beer penalty I'd tell him it offsets the 5-beer penalty that his face is, and we'd laugh and get back to being normal adults.

I think it depends on the player. As an Eagles fan, I would not think twice about wearing a Westbrook or Dawkins jersey, but a TO jersey would never be touched.

As soon as a player got axed from the team his Jersey ended up there for under $20 instead of the regular $75-200 the charged for them otherwise. Since my kid loves having the jerseys period and doesn't mind whether the player is currently on the team, We were able to rock his world more than one Christmas (got his $300 LaVarr Arrington one for $25, the Jason Campbell and Portis ones for about $15 ea and even got him Archuletta and Haynesworth jerseys because they were, I swear, $5 on the clearance rack (for sewn jerseys)
