Back on top, how delightfully absurd!

That woman hasn't aged a day since 1986.

Maron a mia!

And it's hard to believe she's 50+.

Isn't she the one who sang that song about someone giving her a Swedish tattoo?

I don't know about that, but if I ever got ahold of her, I'd definitely leave a mark.

"Coast to Coast L.A. to Chicago" is still a really dumb lyric.

"Mama Weer All Crazee Now" is a pretty good song, but I really can't hear "Far Far Away" anymore...

That's because it's "Run, Run Away".

Say what you will about the music, but it brings back some vivid memories of those times any time I hear it. No Ordinary Love, in particular. Something about her style/voice... I don't know. But it really seemed to define about a 6 month period when it came out.

I always liked her little slo-mo-wiggle dance.
Very subtle.

I'm basically a metal guy, but her album "Love Deluxe" is perfect from start to finish. Great guitar and bass work, plus really great haunting melodies. The long version of "No Ordinary Love" is a farking masterpiece.

You're right. No other band or lyricist EVER used a simplistic phrasing. Not the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi, Stevie or anyone. You are right. How dare she have fans. STFU

HAHHAHAAH Not at all, just tired of hearing the same old lines on Fark. Even I do it sometimes. In fact, my wife has me down for this shirt.

I love her performance from Live Aid. Doesn't hurt that she's braless.

And the Soldier of Love Video....HAWT!

I'm a metalhead, myself, but I could listen to her and Anita Baker all day long.

Alas, she's got a reality TV show on WE (new window), but given that she
has an autistic son and lots and lots of health problems (suriving breast cancer,
lupus), I can't fault her for getting what money she can. At least she's bringing her
family along for the ride, too.

I saw her in Orlando earlier this year. The woman puts on a helluva show.....although my husband and I would have been completely satisfied just staring at her the entire time.

As a hiphop and metal fan, I wasn't that excited when the wife dragged me to see Sade.

I was wrong. 100% wrong.

Sade can sing. Flat out fun show.

Dated a girl I met in the dorms my freshman year of college (1986). She played that album every night. Vivid memories indeed. All I can think about to this day whenever I hear Sade. Come to think of it, it's all I can think about most other times as well.

Her first album, Diamond Life, was the perpetual soundtrack to my poon conquests back in my single days. A quarter-century later, I don't believe a better album has ever been released released for that purpose. It is pure, smooth sonic-sexual chocolate.

My thought's exactly.

I tend to prefer Quiet Riot's cover version of "Cum On Feel the Noize", but I like their "Run Runaway"

Everytime the intro to Paradise comes on the hips just start to gyrate on their on. Steps are livlier too.

When she came to Atlanta, some reviewer was commenting on her show as being very vocally oriented, with a somewhat minimalist visual aspect. He was then roasted in the comments by all these twits trying to compare her to Beyonce or Britney. It was surreal to read about all these people who would rather spend money to watch a lip-synced show than actually attend a concert, especially considering Britney Spears. I wish I could remember where I read the review, but my Google-fu is pathetic.

I saw her this year in DC. We got good seats and we had to get them a year in advance. The show sold out quickly.

It was worth every penny.
