So, let's see what outrage we get first. Will it be:

A) How dare he spend tax payer money on frivolous toys for his children and stuff for his dog? (even though he does have his own money and does get paid a rather generous salary)
B) Fartbongo is just doing it for a photo op, he doesn't really shop in Best Buy and Petsmart, he has flunkies or that! (even though he's still a father and might want to buy presents for his children instead of having a staffer do it)
C) How dare he shop while raising our taxes, WTF is this guy's problem?!

2011-12-22 10:39:14 AM
Reporters on the scene also confirmed that Santa Clause isn't real and that the Grinch's heart did in fact grow three sizes that day.

D) How much did the security detail cost for that little shopping spree? $500K? $1M?
E) Do you know how hard it is to get Sims:Pets?? ALL the stores are sold out but Fartbongo gets one saved especially for him. F*cking elitist.

Well, you have to admit that the image of Obama trying to wrangle Bo amidst the chaos that is Petsmart is amusing. I have a fairly calm Great Dane and after about 20 minutes of maneuvering her around Petsmart, I'm exhausted. "What'sthat, what'sthat, what'sthat...oooo dog treats...what'sthat, what'sthat, what'sthat...bluescrubpeople*--run!...what'sthat, what'sthat..."

Not really a way for him to win this one. Why would anyone want that job?!?!

I'm actually upset that Obama gave money at all to a p.o.s. chain like Worst Buy.

I'll bet the "Geek Squad" guys were really disappointed that Obama wasn't there to get his PC defragged or something. You KNOW how Geek Squaddies love to copy private files off of people's drives. If my PC ever had a hard drive problem that I couldn't fix, I'd sooner pull the drive out and drill holes through it rather than put it in the hands of those invasive little sh*tes.

As a socialist Obama supporter, I would be a bit upset with him shopping at Petsmart if I had the energy to care about such stupid stuff. Bet he feeds Bo Purina, too. Go to a decent local pet store that only sells holistic foods, get Bo a decent grain-free like Earthborn or Orijen, and buy him an elk antler or two. Much better than the rawhide crap he likely bought.

Honestly, the smaller stores are now best for retro games, and they leave new releases in America (they sell imports) to the big stores. There are two in New York that specialize in vintage and imported games, and some are very reasonably priced. Of course, if you give a kid a cartridge, they'll look at you like you just gave them a record.

So.... will any of this "outrage" in the thread come from someone actually on the right or will it just be people on the left posting what they think people on the right should be upset about?

More on the right than the left side of the aisle. Do I count?

Getting gifts for the kids? Good to see him doing it himself, and hopefully something the girls will want.

Sorry... can't find any outrage here. The President is doing his job as a parent. Photo-op or not, you know that he needs to do it on his own lest there'll be hell to pay (much like most other people who care about their kids).

Do I need to turn in my membership card for the right side of the aisle now?
