Totally had this as a kid. And yes, it did have a gross pine-like scent. WTF?

I still have my scrotum chin!

...toy, that is....the toy.

I'm glad Bob the Henchman was on the list.

Also, if they wanted to, they could have used Rocky's Meat in an action figure line celebrating Sylvester Stallone's brief porn career.

2011-12-21 06:58:13 PM
I had Moss Man, Stinkor, and might have had Grizzlor

2011-12-21 07:01:41 PM
There's nothin' wrong with Chuckles, man.

2011-12-21 07:07:57 PM
Man, you don't go attacking He-man figurines. That's just not right.

2011-12-21 07:22:06 PM
Masters of the Universe could have taken the whole list.

2011-12-21 07:22:06 PM
The Transformer Cosmos should have been on this list. They were supposed to be robots in disguise, a flying saucer seems like a terrbile idea.

2011-12-21 07:23:26 PM
Why weren't Go-Bots on that list?

2011-12-21 07:32:32 PM
I had all the figures in #2. I thought they were great

2011-12-21 07:38:54 PM
Oh man, I had a bunch of those lol

2011-12-21 07:40:37 PM
Gonk droid ftw! And what does the author have against recreating star wars with all your other figures? Who was supposed to pilot the Bespin Cloud Ships?

And chuckles came with a holster and handgun. He also got to play "guy caught in the crossfire. Psycheout was much lamer_ or lifeline

I got the Penguins for Christmas when I was eight. I loved those things.

Listen, I spent years in therapy convincing myself those things never existed. You're not helping.

I still have all the He-Man toys in my garage. He did smell... different. Stinkor did as well. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it was definitely.. different.

I had Stinkor and Grizzlor.

And Lobot was no extra, Lobot will fark you up.

2011-12-21 08:13:37 PM
Mossman was simply Beastman with green fur stuck on him, and Stinkor was Merman painted orange.

If invisible woman were real, I'd totally fark that.

I had most of the things in that picture.

Actually, the "giant size" Cy-Kill was somehow lamer than the regular sized one. WTF is that, amirite?

You're on Fark. We can safely assume you've farked an invisible woman a whole bunch of times.

Mossman and Stinkor kicked ass. Grizzlor did suck.

The should have added the He-Man Rock People, which were just rip-offs on the Rock Lord fad.

/ IIRC Grizzlor was She-Ra, not He-Man
// Isn't the the Horde symbol on his chest?

texdent: I had the car and I think the motorcycle one.

The Future Machine one and the tank were both actually pretty cool, except for the fact that the turret of the tank came off and was surprisingly easy to lose. I didn't have the car gestalt, but I had one of the Gobot gestalts, and let's just say- they were no Constructicons. Oh, sure, unlike the Constructicons, they could stand, but they were also a fraction of the fun.

I've got "The Meat." Still in it's original packaging... because, let's face it, without the packaging, it's just a little plastic side of beef.

I don't collect those doll things, but when I saw "The Meat" I just knew I had to have it to stick on a shelf to screw with people.

Of course, nobody ever comes by, so it never screws with anyone...

Fano: lifeline

Mannnn.... I played the shiat out of my Lifeline figure. I don't know why. I have some sort of subconscious attraction to red, hehe.

Good list but missing: Anything that transforms into a rock (see He-Man, Inhumanoids, Go-Bots)

I never had the Carpet Destroyer aka the Slime Pit
i42.tinypic.com
It came with some goo that you could pour on toys ( a few other toy lines had this too) but I remember it clearly said "God help you if Moss-man gets near this shiat"

I vaguely remember getting a Slimer for Christmas that came with the goo. Think the goo got trashed.

Confession: My Lifeline figure was not the weird pacifist from the cartoon- he came with a pistol for god's sake. He was pulled his weight in my outfit.

One could fault Crystal Ball or Raptor or Croc Master or Big Boa, I suppose.

But someone had to be involved in the Thunderdome matches my Joes were often forced into.

Inhumanoids, man talk about both extreme sides of the curve. The giant figures for Metlar, Tendril, etc rocked, but the Redwoods and Granites sucked balls. And Magnokor, oh God was that ever crappy.

Didn't the Lifeline figure come with a gun? The guy who in the show swore to never wield a weapon?

I wish I could go back in time and get all the Mighty Max sets that there was.

Polly Pockets for us boys.

No I had a Pogo ball, but some friends of mine had that. That thing was pretty fun once you figured out how to get it moving.

The author can go to hell for bagging on the misc. Star Wars toys. Those rocked!

Anyone remember Starcom?

2011-12-21 10:16:56 PM
Masters of the Universe's Ram Man definitely belonged on this list. Nearly as immobile as the Gonk Droid. I remember being underwhelmed with him.

2011-12-21 10:17:29 PM
Two things I will never let my little brother live down:

A) Asking for Polly Pocket for Christmas three years in a row when he was really small.

B) Joining the "Fruit of the Month Club" at the local grocery store at around the same age. I was old enough to know better but Mom quite happily signed him up to receive his free fruit once a month. Not worth it, IMO.
