Just noticed this part: 'Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story'.

Why bother having different branches of the military if you're going to combine the bases anyway?

(Little Creek = Navy, Fort Story = Army)

When I was stationed at NPTU Charleston they had meetings about combining the Navy base and Air Force base. It got shot down when the Air Force said the Navy housing didn't meet Air Force standards and would have to be torn down and rebuilt. After seeing first hand what Air Force facilities are like I'd have to agree with that assessment.
