Possibly; didn't read that thread. Though I do remember the Mickey Rooney as Santa-Rankin/Bass productions (hell, I remember almost ALL of their Christmas shows), and I remember Santa Claus the Movie for the whole "mauve" thing. I'm not sure how people wouldn't remember Jingle All The Way and Ernest Saves Christmas, or especially the Mara Wilson version of Miracle on 34th Street, unless they're oblivious twenty-somethings who've repressed any memory of their childhood. Never heard of the rest, though the Mixed Nuts one rings a bell.

when my mom didn't style her hair, she often looked quite a lot like Heat Miser and would sometimes make the

Ive got a Christmas movie memory that dates back to the late 70s early 80s of a Christmas 'movie' or TV special that I am trying to find. Any help would be appreciated!!!

The show is set in the future where Christmas is so commercialized that the 'true spirit of Christmas' is forgotten. The only thing I remember is them singing a song that was to the tune of "The 12 days of Christmas" that ended with the words "Egg nog galactic, and some astro (word I cant remember) juice"

I remember sitting in my family room watching this with my younger brother, who kept pestering me as to when this was going to be over, because the "Star Wars Christmas" movie was on next.

I really want to find out what it was titled, and if I can pick up or download a copy of it, just to prove that I wasnt hallucinating this show.

Thanks!!!

The Man Who Saved Christmas is one of my absolute favorite Christmas movies.

It's about the guy who invented the Erector Set. His toy factory was converted to support the war effort, which had such a drain on the country that the Department of War was pushing the White House to literally cancel Christmas. I don't know how historically accurate it is, but I really enjoy it.
