THIS.

What a horrible judge.

I had a judge that was mad at me in a DUI case because my lawyer kept continuing it.

I got SIX MONTHS IN JAIL for a first time DUI.

Done in two. Let's go ahead and wrap this up.

WBEZ management oversight for our program by our boss, Mr. Torey Malatia. You know, before he got a job in radio, he had a show that he did for his own family, transmitted only in their house, which isn't hard.

You just stand up on the toilet or the sink and get to the air vent and talk through it, and they can hear you.

...and why conservatives will start banging the "CUT FEDERAL FUNDING TO NPR" drum again.

They just made sure a fine, upstanding "tough on crime" judge was removed from the bench, and will probably be replaced with some bleeding heart liberal who allows dirty druggies things like phone calls and lawyers and due process.

I just listened to that episode on my drive down to DC this weekend. Good to know there's a happy coda on the story.

Awesome. This was a fascinating episode of TAL.
That judge was terrible. Glad she's getting removed.

Interesting. Remind me again why people bother to listen to the mainstream networks so they can get the "news". Congratulations, yet again, to NPR.

That's pretty harsh - any details that you can share? Accident? Extremely high BAC? Uncooperative with cops? State where it happened?

Of course there are those on fark who think you should be executed for a first time DUI. I think they're the same people saying we shouldn't execute murderers because everyone on death row is actually innocent.

I hope the biatch int he article doesn't escape charges, but seeing as how judges like to give their own a pass I am sure she will.

Hey; what I stated is an absolute fact. Rush has a bigger audience, bigger paycheck, and didn't need to do it as a Welfare Queen with a microphone. If Ira is so great; why does he need to pilfer people's paycheck? Just another Lazy Lefty on the Government Tit.

Yes, but it is distributed to NPR stations, which support it by paying for it.

Also, don't expect conservatives to be able to differentiate between PRI and NPR.

He tells the truth instead of relying on brain dead half-wits like you to keep sucking up endless lies, like Rush does.

Also, TAL is on stations that don't run ads.

And let's face it: if you're like most conservatives who listen to Rush, you probably don't effectively pay taxes anyway.

Oh, I don't. But I was (wishfully, it seems) thinking that perhaps people who actually listened to the program might at least be able to do so.

Its sad that a story about justice, albeit delayed justice, turns into a partisan bickering session. Can we please stgop the left/right BS and try Americans vs greedy asshats who sell themselves to the highest bidder? We can disagree about the means, but the vast majority of us do agree on the goals. It's a very small group of total douchebags who are screwing it up. Of course, they're the ones with money and elected office.

I enjoy the show and listen to it most Saturdays but it had nothing to do with getting her removed. It was the multiple complaints and the oversight of the commission that accomplished that. The show merely shared the fact she is an incredible biatch.

But does he inform his listeners? He's an extremist tool You could probably say the same about Limbaugh as you could about Rush the band except that I find Rush's lyrics somewhat more intelligent than Limbaugh's ramblings.

Rush Limbaugh is the Howard Stern of right-wing radio.

That's not nice. Howard Stern is often very entertaining.
Also, his followers don't make shrines to him and constantly try to destroy the government/world by being self-centered a**holes.
