I'd like him to have a little bit of Ron Paul Civil Libertarian stand points combined with some Huntsman Foreign Policy knowledge and then he'd be closer to my ideal. The idiot who confronted Newt Gingrich should be jailed. There needs to be a law where politicians are immune to the law. This way, Newt Gingrich could kill or assault anyone who disagrees with him. Yes, I know what you're thinking. In order to make sure the law is not abused, I agree there should be exceptions to the rule. Democrats and liberals should not be allowed to use this provision. In-fact, I propose a provision in the law that forces Democrats and liberals into permanent slavery. (Republicans already bear the burden of supporting Democrats through welfare taxes, might as well codify it.) Only Republicans would be entitled to immunity. Only people like Newt Gingrich, people who love this country.

Actually, I think it says more about how comically cartoonish the GOP campaign has gotten. I find Newt as repulsive as the next guy, but really, look at the alternatives. Every one of them is grotesque in their own unique fashion. Some, like Bachman are multifaceted in their ways to disgust you. The whole Republican Party resembles this out of control pickup truck with like, 3 guys, simultaneously grabbing the wheel trying to steer it.

I disagree... While Newt is, indeed, a "farking asshole", he's not just an embarrassment to the GOP, he's an embarrassment to the entire country.

That chubby little sociopath makes us all look bad just by the fact that plenty of Americans want this poison dwarf to be president. That he is even in contention for the job is pathetic and reflects poorly on us all.
