These folks were "reminded" by the Penn State scandal. In that case the molestations continued for years. As yet we have no evidence that Conlin was doing this over a long period of time. Just some vague allegations from four decades ago. Forty years is really too long to raise an accusation don't you think?

The father corroberated the incident and recalls confronting him. People didn't run to the media with stuff like this back then.

If there is corroboration the guy should have his life ruined. I still think FORTY years is an awful long time to stay silent. Is there any evidence that he has molested more recently than the 1960s? I'm NOT saying it didn't happen just that four decades later it may be hard to establish proof. I'd say the same thing for any other crime. The Penn State molestation went on for decades. Molesters also don't tend to stop offending.

Some episodes of L&O:SVU had sexual predators who did it for sadistic/farked-in-the-head reasons primarily and so it had nothing to do with a particular gender so much as just a small defenseless human. But IANApsychologist so I don't know how common or accurate that may be.

Actually I DO have a theory as to why the Dr. Earl Bradley case never caught fire, Beau Biden who was attorney general of Delaware at the time dropped the ball numerous times when it came to exposing and arresting Bradley.. He decided not to run for his father's seat in the Senate so that he could cover his ass in the Bradley case. You can't have his father look bad even a little bit can you? Not in Delaware!
