Just goes to show that Frank Lampard is the most prolific midfielder in the modern era. I'll never understand the Lampard haters. He's genius.

You can't do both, recognize he's a fine player and hate him?

How close are we to 20,000? Oh, and let's hope #20,000 isn't an "own goal".

No greenlight re: the Suarez ban? It's a pretty important moment re: setting a precedent in sports.

That being said, alphas respond to racist names by silently playing well. Little biatch omegas go tattle-tale to their leagues like 5 year-olds. Evra's a little biatch omega.

While I don't know much about the situation, it looks like Liverpool is furious that (in their eyes) Evra exaggerated a minor incident in order to get a favorable ruling from officials. I'm sure glad Suarez is above trying that... oh wait...

I invite everyone to look at some Shearer highlight reels on Youtube. When average the guy took advantage of some great passing from an unrecognized midfield. But when good the guy was unbelievable.

/I would avoid his coaching highlights however

Goal stats? That's child's play. Show me an infographic of who ran the longest distance and the highest average speed by stadium and then I'll be impressed.

Too bad it took 40,000 games to get those 20,000 goals scored...

/All 0-0 games should end with ticketholders being refunded the full face value thereof...

No DFB thread, so it will have to go here: Did anyone else watch the Bayern M match today? Arjen with the goal in the 91st minute for the win, Farkin' beautiful!

/The victory should have come a lot easier..... scary.

Doogled: I'm sure glad Suarez is above trying that... oh wait...

Diving is slightly different from this accusation, which, you'll recall, nobody on the pitch could back up, nor could any TV camera record.

That said, Suarez has done his fair share of diving in his day, and he's getting his due for that out of the officials. It may well be that this is FA saying, "It's impossible to believe you because of how often you've cried wolf," too. Who knows?

I'm not as much of a Lampard hater (hey, thanks for scoring the winning goal against City), but I really think he's international duties are done. Not just him, but I want Rio, Terry and Gerrard gone too.

I was jut being an ass since I think it's safe to consider whining to officials as Suarez's signature move after the last WC. If racist remarks were actually made, Evra did the right thing bringing it to the league's attention.

That said, I'd be interested to read why the ruling was made (when that comes available). If they took Evra's word over Suarez solely based on each player's past & perceived credibility, that's a terrible precedent to set.

Bullshiat!! Missed calls by a whole lot of officials. At least half of those 20,000 were blown calls by sub-par officials swallowing whistles or missing calls when they should have disallowed the goal.

/But that's just me.
//I prefer a well officiated game.
