I find it hard to believe Camden is already 20. I still remember heading out to games in Memorial Park.

How cheap are tickets there? It's a gorgeous stadium and all of a sudden I have Baltimore ties, so I feel like I should make a couple of trips. I last went to a game there when I was 13 so it's been a while.

As much of a fan of Ripken as I was growing up, I was just as big a fan of Eddie Murray. I think it was the mustache. I really can't explain it. Nor can I explain why I felt necessary to post this. Weird.

Uh, I've never heard anyone call it Memorial Park.

They have $8 Upper Deck seats on Tuesdays thanks to "Ollie's bargain night" (or at least they did last season). I've been able to get $5 Left/Right Field upper deck tickets on weekday games from time to time. The normal price for L/R field is normally $10. Upper deck is $18. The seats below the press box are $45. Behind home plate is $60.

If Boston or New York are in town, the prices normally double (except L/R Field which still stay around $10).

Sorry, but Frank Robinson is not walking out to that outfield. Neither are Paul Blair, or Ken Singleton or even Al Bumbry.

At first I thought this was referring to today's signing by the Orioles of Endy Chavez...

I would like to thank the O's for my first green in a long, long time!

This is just about the only thing you can thank the Orioles for these days.... and knocking the Sux out of the playoffs. As a Baltimoron who bleeds Black & Orange, I keep waiting for the day the idiot that owns the team finally either gets out of the way or dies, so we can get back to the Oriole way that gave us talent like Brooks, Frank, Palmer and Murray.

That's actually pretty darn good. Do they still have something like the Crown Gas Young Orioles Club? We used to get 10 games in the cheap seats, including some against good teams, along with some tchotkes for some insanely low price.

Well, they have free b-day tickets and they have their typical partial season plans (20 games IIRC) before the season begins. They also have a lot of kids nights, but I'm not sure what specials they'll have during the season.

Probably my best moment as a baseball fan. Followed shortly by my worst, but still.
