Congress can't even balance the budget, but they've got the resources and the smarts to be able to keep evidence of some kind of alien presence here on Earth hidden from everybody? Gimme a break!

Either Jesus Diaz is the only writer for Gizmodo, or he's got some Fark honcho's cock in his mouth.

Seems legit, the residents of Cowley County, Kansas are clearly experts on extraterrestrial technology and can spot it from behind the counter of a used appliance store.

That "witness" said a sphere. Pardon me but did she fail "Shapes" in kindergarten? That is not a friggin' sphere.

I was picturing exactly that scene from "Flight of the Navigator" when I saw the video of the tractor trailer hauling the large load. Compliance!

Like all public school curriculum, kindergarten is the organized indoctrination of liberal bias and indecency. Kansans have recognized this for decades now, and have chosen to reject the atheist biased "education" public school would offer in favor of a faith based system of reason. If she believes the object is a sphere, then the item is a sphere. Her belief is her proof. Who are you to say that your belief that the item in question is not a sphere is more accurate than her belief that it is?

From the film "Flight of the Navigator", still one of my favorite films. Released 1986. I love the soundtrack and young Veronica Cartwright.

Well, in defense of the citizens of Kansas, they don't get much in the way of new periodicals or out of state TV to give them a head's up that the times...they are a changin.

Having been through Kansas (and damn it couldn't go fast enough) and knowing what their school boards have voted for...damn, that almost seemed cogent.

;-p

That's the sad truth. My parents live in Cowley County, just off of US 77. That'll be the talk of the town for weeks.

We weren't invited to Christmas at their house because we posted positive things about Elizabeth Warren on Facebook. No joke.

I want that setup. Instead I get nagged to death about being a 'dumb-o-crat' this weekend.

Just because someone says something looks like a UFO doesn't mean they think it is an actual spacecraft from another world. UFOs have penetrated our culture to the point where no one needs to describe them.

/seriously, if you take issue with these people calling this a UFO, then what the high hell is wrong with you.
//it looks like a UFO.
