I base them on half-wits that they can only cite Hitchens' arguments about Mother Theresa, which means they are half-wit, lazy fanboys who don't have an original thought in their head, much less any gumption to verify Hitchens' arguments. They just parrot what they hear because someone more intelligent than they were wrote about it.

Hitchens was an incredibly well-educated gossip who kept himself in the news by taking ever more controversial positions about subjects the rest of the world reached consensus on. HE was worth reading. Idiots parroting his ideas without doing any of their own research are worth about the same amount of contempt Hitchens himself reserved for whatever his target of the day was.

So yeah, I'm superior, or at least as superior as Hitchens, because I read him and also read about the people he was criticizing, instead of just taking his word for it - which is what you do. You, captain lazy, and everybody else in this thread.
