That is, litch-ra-lee, the most epic garage door scene in cinematic history!

I haven't been this excited about a Lifetime production since Tori Spelling blew my mind with her Dadaist portrayal of a woman that just happens to have fallen in love a psychotic maniac in Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?

Lifetime Movies.........because fark men, that's why.

mitchcumstein1: Anne Perkins :-).

That would have been the perfect ending to that scene.

/That, or, "You need to fix your damn garage door!"

If I had a nickel for every time someone misused "epic", I'd put all those nickels in a sack and beat the living crap out of them.

What good is it to beat the crap out of nickels? They're hard metal. They don't even feel pain.

I'd be down! But I usually tape good-bad movies for watching with the Mrs. when we're drunk late at night.

You should consider taping and watching Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call: New Orleans some time. Oh my god. What a totally hilariously bad and bizarre film. I don't know if it's Nick Cage's worst movie but it's certainly one of the more WTF-worthy ones.

Bad film? It's 87% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Just... watch it. There are moments that are so "WTF" that I don't know how you take it seriously.

Here's a little taste.

That had neither Meredith Baxter Birney nor Tracey Gold therefore it cannot be a lifetime movie.

I keep meaning to, actually. Especially since I live in New Orleans.

Beyond bad Lifetime and SyFy movies, my next favorite good-bad thing is wildly inaccurate movies/shows about New Orleans.

I've seen bits at pieces but have never watched the whole thing. The weirdest scene I remember was the "shoot him again, his soul is still dancing" followed by some dude break dancing.

Yep, just linked that one.

It's extremely long and drags on and on, but randomly throws in these moments of total insanity and amateur shots from the perspective of alligators who are witnessing car accidents. Plus Nick Cage being the cagiest of all Cage films.

Chris - ohhh Ben, can we get a garage door that works properly!?

Ben - There is no money in the budget for garage doors.

Chris - Ben says no, I'm sorry everyone.

I want SyFy to get together with lifetime so we can see a movie about a brave scorpion-wombat-tiger chimera with cancer who stands up to the abusive scientist it married and ends up saving a schoolbus full of children from a psychopathic pedophile comet and then learns the meaning of friendship while receiving chemo and morphing into a 500 foot long transdimensional earthworm.

Is this seriously real? This was actually in the feature film? This wasn't something some guy just inserted into the actual movie?

Holy shiat.

I'd see any and everything directed by Werner Herzog. Hell, I'd watch the guy eat his shoe.

I thought this was an epic movie about Rob Lowe. I was looking forward to the part where he statutorily raped (allegedly) and video taped himself having chicks with some chick under age 18 and her friend and only had to do some community service and pay her folks some money. That part would be awesome gross.

She was 15 and for years dude would salute him when they saw him.

Jim from Saint Paul: Best. Perp. Walk. Ever.

I only got to watch half of that movie because I was visiting my parents and they were being all strange about the movie. I'm 32, I can watch movies about hookers mom! Yes, I was in my mom's basement at the time.

I managed to stumble past one of these the other day and stopped when I saw Linda Hamilton(!) I stopped and watched it for about ten minutes and it seemed like porn for bitter, menopausal women.
