No, they beat them earlier this year. Your headline is flawed submitter.

The difference in the game was the interception for the touchdown. The Titans lost, the Colts did not win.

It was still a goddamn embarrassing game. At least it knocked us out of the playoffs - we don't deserve to be in now.

Technically every team the Colts have played, or will play, have already beaten them this season.

2011-12-18 06:18:12 PM
So since they already beat them would they have to do some sort of one step forward and one step back kind of thing?
Or just turn sideways?

Why did I have to sick today and sleep in until 5pm!? The packers lose and the colts win!

And am I the only one who gets the feeling that Indy is going to win out and lose the number one pick?

I see a possible scenario of either the Vikings drafting Luck, or the Rams trading the number 1 pick for a bunch of other picks. Indy is still going to get a great pick regardless, and if Manning can come back healthy, the team still has time to think about a successor if they manage to fark up this shiat season they have going by winning more games.

This knocked me out of my survivor pool, but I'm consoled by the fact that I didn't die alone.

How tragic. The Titans have ruined the Colts perfect season.

Ryan Leaf was the #1 Pick in 1998. Manning was the Colts #1 that year, but wasn't rated as high as Leaf.

Being the projected #1 isn't a guarantee of quality.

The Colts had the most points at the end, is this some nuance of the game that isn't readily evident?

Packers lose (to the Chiefs, of all teams!) and Colts win. The makings of a bizarre football weekend

Brings up an interesting question. Which is worse: Being a fan of a 1-13 team or being a fan of the one team that they beat?

I hope the Colts win out at this point just to piss off their ownership by not getting them the #1 pick.

As a Redskins fan that still gets reminded of who the "1" was in the Cowboys 1-15 season over 20 years ago, I can confidently say the Titans fans are on the short end here.

I'm pissed that even when the Colts suck donkey cock, they STILL manage to be responsible for keeping us out of the playoffs.

Haha that Cowboys team is what made me first think of the question. Thanks for reminding me who was the one victim. Also thank you Redskins for beating the Giants and keeping the Eagles (albeit barely) alive for the division.

teto85: The difference in the game was the interception for the touchdown. The Titans lost, the Colts did not win.

The Colts won by two touchdowns, that interception return was not the difference. And it's not like the Titans were deep in Colts territory, which cost the them a possible TD and made the return a 14 point swing or something, they were at their own 29. Not to mention the Colts were ahead when they got the interception return.

You might be able to argue the point the the Titans lost it more than the Colts won it, but that's not the one play that decided the game. I think the Colts defense just played a solid game.

Tomorrow morning, someone is going to wake up and realize that the Dolphins aren't even in last place in their division, let alone a "Suck For Luck" sweepstakes contender.

/And there was much rejoicing in Dolphinsland, as we are not the worst team in football, not by a fairly wide (but not wide enough) margin

The Colts have the SoS in their favor with a game in hand. MN has an easier schedule (Bears, Skins). St Louis might pull one out of Rapelisberger doesn't play. It's gonna be pretty hard for the Colts not to get the #1 pick.

More points. Only two teams played. Nope. Nothing nuanced. The Mrs is from Memphis and I had to say this.

I beg to differ. We found out that Dan Orlovsky might be more effective as a blocker than a QB.

Not yet. Vikes are 2-12, if the Colts are 1-13. It's still possible for the vikings to grab it if the Colts win out and they tank the last 2.

God only knows who will end up with it though.

Nice to see that the Colts front office has deemed that they are far enough ahead in the Lose for Luck race they can safely win a game to make it look slightly less obvious that they have ordered the coaches and players to intentionally throw the season.

Yeah, I said it.

Yeah, about that...
