Pretty good.
Too much reverb, though. Reverb's the MSG of sound. It's fine if you use a pinch, but too much will make you question the quality - and wonder if they're covering up mistakes.

Lots of talent out there. Nice to see that these girls are getting their props without having the ubiquitous Hollywood look. There's nothing wrong with their looks, either. They just weren't stamped from the generic Hollywood tartlet mould. Rock on, ladies!

The singer on the right is using a large-diaphragm, bi-directional condenser mic while the one on the left is using a cardioid-pattern mic pointed at her. Thus the vocals from the girl on the right are captured as well as her reverberations in the stairwell, while the cardioid mic is going to reject most of the natural echoes. She has a "bigger" voice and may be also hitting more resonant tones for that space as well.

I for one was really moved by this performance, though I may have been biased by Neko Case's reaction ahead of time.

The fat girl (I can't tell which name belongs to which from the credits, sorry) projects more naturally, plus she isn't pointing her mouth at the microphone the way the girl with the ukelele is. She's just singing, and her voice spills from her lips like a gushing of chimes and honey. The other girl sings very well, but... damn. Every note of F.G's voice seems like an accident of startling beauty.
