I never second guess myself. It my decision turned out to be wrong, I don't back out, I double down. It's worked surprisingly well so far.

Are you one of the Republican candidates?

I tend to suffer long and hard before making a large purchase worried im going to buy the wrong product. Then when I buy it it all comes down to how happy i am with it. If I'm happy with the performance of the product then I go about life happy. If I'm unhappy with the performance then I blame myself for buying a piece of shiat instead of blaming the manufacturer for making a piece of shiat.

The conservative sandwich-heavy headline always pays off for the hungry submitter.

If only I were racist and rich, I think I could compete. But alas.

Ooh joy, another psychological problem to self diagnose.
There are so many now that I can't make up my mind.

And then you'll just keep second-guessing your self-diagnosis.

It's almost diabolical how that works out.

This is why, instead of worrying about headlines, I turn off the television, sit down with my kids, and hit them.

I'm a maximizer and I'm getting a kick out of this article :(

Taking a decision is incredibly hard for me. That's why I tend to plan ahead in the short term: Okay, i'm going out to THIS place and eat THIS from the menu, then I'll go to THIS bar afterwards. If I go without knowing or if one of my pre-made choices changes, I get stuck in a recursive loop. That leads to me making a bad decision due to anxiety or just going home and feel sorry for myself.

Second guessing your purchases is really second guessing your research. That's why I never purchase anything over $15 without good research.

That must suck. You should learn to take a deep breath and practice making spur of the moment choices with a do and be damned kind of attitude.

I know the local bars that have microbrew draught specials for each day of the week. THAT is my definition of maximizer.

Mañana does not mean I will make a decision tomorrow. It means I won't make a decision today.

Apologies to P.J. O'Rourke

This is absolutely something true about me.

I blame years of making Magic: The Gathering decks and tweaking them all endlessly...and it doesn't help that my mom spent a huge amount of her time dragging me to garage sales.

Yeah, it does suck. Especially when I try to go out with a lady :(

I overthink everything and end up sucking bad.

Self-realization of one's fallibility leads to low self-esteem? Way to earn that doctorate, champ.

Yeah. I got a 'no Comment Post - no Submit A Link for 48 hours' Fark pee-pee slap once for posting that pic in its original form- "deleted: Nudity, partial nudity, adult content - NSFW". Then, two days later after Fark discipline was over, I posted it again in the same thread but with the lil shorts added. I guess side view of a female buttock, hip, and leg is verboten on Fark for some people even though I've seen it posted its original form several times before and since. Many times in fact. It was obligatory at one time. There's tons of the original posted in many threads, but alas, I got the lil biatch modmin that day.

Maybe that Fark modmin on that day was a bit too prudish ... or just doesn't like girls. I'm guessing it was the 'or'.
