Law abiding Citizen (sorry, I think it's good for it's genre)

Speaking of Keanu Reeves' films that I should hate, but don't: "Constantine". I have only one idea as to why I enjoy that film, and that is the rest of the cast. Peter Stormare is my favorite Lucifer, EVAR.

Spy Game. Brad Pitts acting is kind of flaky--particularly on top of the Fuji Film building, but overall it is a great story.

I particularly like the way that both Redford's and McCormack's character fight for Pitt's loyalty, but the "enemy" (McCormack) is the only one that is completely honest with him.

/Dinner Out is a go.

Almost everyone I know (including me) who loves The Big Lebowski didn't like it the first time they saw it.

Stormare's Lucifer is probably my favorite interpretation of the devil, but John Glover's version of the devil from Brimstone is a close second.

What about Happy Scrappy Hero Pup?

On topic, the first time or two I saw The Others, I wasn't too big of a fan, but somewhere around the third viewing, I started to appreciate how well put together it was.

Eh. I'm going to duck after this one but aside from Spacey's performance, I didn't really like Usual Suspects. It was too crime movie cliche for me but maybe my expectations were too high.

FlashHarry: charlize theron has boobs?

You know what? I like a solid B just fine. In fact, I prefer it.

No need to duck, I can see where you're coming from, but I do disagree with you. I think it was one of the best caper flicks I've ever seen.

Really? I saw that as a kid and thought, "This guy is an asshole. Is this what high school is going to be like?". But I'm the one with the problem because I hate most John Hughes' "affluent white people's problems" movies and everyone else loves them. So I'm dealing with that.

Except Vacation. That was a masterpiece.

Firefox is one of my childhood faves....got cable in '81, and its one of those movies that was on cable like a billion times after it's theatrical run. Read sequel, "Firefox Down"...wished they'd done that one too.

Firefox is chock full o' Cold War era goodness!

Basic was a weird movie that tells a story over and over and you have to watch extremely close to catch it, but with John Travolta and Sam L Jackson the movie was quite good if you watch again.

I know Ebert hated it. It had the "unreliable narrator" thing going, which means everything the narrator "in this case Kevin Spacey" says is bullshiat so that garners some resentment from the audience. But I think it was a great film.

In my opinion, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was totally overlooked.

A few words: it's very long, and there's a Zooey Deschanel sighting near the end.

I think I liked it because it was bleak, moody, and sad; just like me.

Spy Game was underrated. Quite a good spy movie that is more in the office than the field.

As for Devil's Advocate... one of the few movies I can stand Keanu in. His voice still irritates me but he is just a device to move the rest of the movie along is how I see it. A set piece.

And I know I'll get lambasted but I don't care... Sucker Punch is better than most people gave it shiat for. No, not a great film, but surprisingly good and better than most of the shiat we had in the past couple of years.

I'm going with The Prestige. Not as good as most of his other flicks, but it really grows on you, over time, once you see how the trick was pulled off.

Hamlet 2 is hilarious. The French movie, Rambow, is a fine kids film. And the doc, Man on a Wire, is one of my all-time favorites.
