Hell yes! Crank 2 was a critic-proof flick, if the middle finger at the end wasn't obvious enough. I saw that movie while self-medicating, I thought I halucinated the Godzilla fight. The strip club scene with Amy Smart was trashy hot, same with the horse race.

I thought that was the point and it worked well for Crank and Crank 2.
Gamer, on the other hand, made by the same writers/directors was craptacular. I walked out in the middle of the film and i was watching it at home.

I hope they bring back Mike Patton for number 3. He is good at making psychotic music.

I hate it when people talk about movies in terms of "turning the brain off", or "popcorn flick", because 99% of the time it's a way to excuse bad film-making.

Crank and Crank 2 are that other 1%.

Most of my friends hate both the Crank movies. I thought they were freaking awesome. Its not meant to be taken serious. I also like the fact that it isnt just another typical crap hollywood film where you pretty much know whats gonna happen in the movie. I mean come on who thought the dude from the first movie would be a talking head in the second movie? seriously who seen that coming?

As long as this movie involves Jason Statham shirtless, I am SO THERE.

I love the Crank flicks. They're not meant to be works of critical theatric plot and character development genius. They're actiony, explosiony, blatantly ridiculous and offensive, and THAT IS WHAT MAKES THEM FUN.

I saw "Crank" and was terribly disappointed. A movie with Crank in the title should at least have J. Arthur Crank appear once in it.

Those who pursue him, who try to destroy him, they are those forces which place a yolk upon our lives, who strive to break us, turn us all into automatons and consumers. Truly, Chev Chelios is an expression in the angst within us all towards societies restrictions on making sweet, sweet anal love to goats, and the occasional thirteen year old girl. Perhaps someday, there will be no need for Chev, when we are truly free, until then, I for one am eternally greatful.

Crank 1 was fun. Crank 2 was retarded. It took everything that made Crank great, and took it seriously and too self-conciously over the top.

It's Saints Row: The Movie as far as I'm concerned, and I can't wait!
