On first glance I read that headline as "world's oldest c*cksucker". Article wasn't as I expected.

Back in my day, we didn't need robots to do our reckless trading for us. We bought stock on the margin when our we were already leveraged 150-1, and we liked it. You know what we called insider trading? TRADING!

Now it's all "federal felony" this and "ruined the economy" that. Damned communists ruined everything.

Born during the Panic of 1907!

a great read and a precursor of current shenanigans. JP Morgan was badass and acted for the good of the nation, which was also good for him.

No one ever said on his death bed, "I should have spent more time at the office."

If this guy doesn't drop while trading, he will have mia culpa moment. I just know it.

FTFA:

After Winter Brill thanked Irving Kahn for spending time with "The Early Show," he responded, "I don't think it's worth it, but I think it will be useful for somebody who's writing a book about longevity."

Ok then.
I wonder if he was this pleasant fifty years ago, or if time has mellowed him.

I used to like stories like this, but now I hate them because then you get the likes of Mitt Romeny and Newt Gingrich wanting to raise the retirment age to 90.
