Not anywhere near as possessed as a chihuahua.

Which do you mean subby, women or poodles?

2011-12-15 05:35:53 PM
Yes subby, they are.

2011-12-15 06:20:33 PM
Not all, but certainly most poodles are demonic in nature.

2011-12-15 06:39:47 PM
That demon must have had some seriously low self-esteem

NuttierThanEver: Which do you mean subby, women or poodles?

I believe subby meant possessed in terms of ownership so I go with the former.

Are you sure the demon wasn't possessed by a poodle?

2011-12-15 07:08:19 PM
Yeah, and religion works?

The little yappy poodles are possessed, but the real full size poodles are actually friendly and cool. It's a shame about the haircuts though.

Bait dogs, the bark of which sounds like a goat bladder being stomped, need not be granted the exceptionally kind privilege of being called, "demons."

Can't get to TFA, but back in my veterinary assistant days a lady dropped off her poodle for boarding and asked the vet to give him his annual exam while he was there. I fetched the poodle, the vet started the exam, and then we both (the vet and I) started smelling an obnoxious odor. At first we couldn't figure out where the hell it was coming from, but then we discovered that the poodle was wearing a sort of necklace made of cloves of garlic all strung together.

Vet called owner. Owner advised us not to remove it under any circumstances because the dog was possessed and the garlic was keeping the evil spirit mostly at bay.

Of course, we took it off and just didn't tell her about it. I haven't suffered any consequences thus far.

Horvat claims that soon after Princess arrived in her home, bad luck befell the family, including a bedbug infestation that led to $7,000 in exterminator fees from her co-op as well as legal fees to fight an eviction.

In addition, her husband was in a serious car accident and came down with a rare autoimmune disease called Churg-Strauss Syndrome. Then Horvat's daughter was almost expelled from second grade for offending classmates with an action that was perceived to be bigoted when she put on a rubber glove then grabbed the bare hand of a Muslim friend -- an action

the child blames on a strange voice she heard in her head.

Meanwhile, Princess herself suffered a broken leg that did not respond well to treatment.

Horvat says her family's misfortunes are all linked to the tiny white pooch that just happened to be possessed.

Maybe it's because you live in an unclean, dysfunctional home. Did ya ever think of that Olga?

/Nothing like blaming your family's problems on a demon-possessed dog

They were born with a delusion of supremacy and If one doesn't get them clip their hair gets matted. I really don't want a matted demon coming after me.

My girlfriend got a cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel / Poodle cross) a few months ago. She's certainly a little hellion, so I believe the woman from the article...

Not that I actually read it, of course

A sponge.

I mean, sure, the pendant might not work. But, do you really want to risk it? Do you really want to put your family in danger to prove a point? Better err on the safe side and buy the pendant.

As the former owner of two poodles...

this thread is relevant to my interests.

/schipperkes are the true demon dogs, though. I once saw one run sideways along the back of a couch...

Anyone ever owned a springer spaniel?
They may not be demon dogs, but good grief they've got energy to spare, and a demand for attention that is second to none.

That horse looks like it's about to go on a murderous rampage, and it would be completely justifiable.

This is why you should always own cats.

There is never any doubt that they are possessed.

Most people think poodles are a breed that by definition should be named Fefe'. Ummm,, no. I worked for a guy once who had a poodle that treed a bear. This farking thing coulda ate a pitbull easily.

Yes. The one I encountered was black with big ass teeth and a frickin snout as long as a doberman. It was obviously pissed for being named "Poodle".

My cousin's family owns a giant poodle (not that giant, maybe 3-4 feet tall) that looks a lot like that, so at first I thought that was an actual dog.

How?

I worked in a kennel, and as evil as poodles can be (I nearly lost a finger when one bit me), it's not entirely their fault. It's generations of inbreeding. Most of them are so far into dueling-banjos territory they can barely see straight. That leads to major mental issues, unusual aggression, and bipolar behavior. I blame the breeders who turn the gene pools into gene shot-glasses.

They asked her why she did that, and she said "Because God doesn't want me touching infidels." ??

You don't think putting on gloves to interact with a kid just because they're Muslim could be considered biggoted at all?
