They should introduce differential pricing based on how annoying or attractive each passenger is. Instead of frequent flyer miles you earn good traveler points. If you're pretty and put out on the first flight you fly cheap because you induce fat male executives to pay extra to sit near you.

I'd post a profile and pic of a huge fat guy, who's a nasty, obnoxious drunk. Then no one will want to sit next to me. More roomy!

Would requesting a skinny deaf-mute be asking too much?

Go first-class?

What does the content of the article even have to do with RIM?

This 'reporter' or whatever she is stinks. "I've got an idea, I'll ride the coattails of RIM's steady decline to write an article about airlines allowing social seating reservations but name RIM in the headline so more people read it"

Dumb biatch...

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it?

Narrow my search using the terms "easy," "good looking," and "nice tits."

/crap, "female" should probably be in there somewhere too

FTA:
"Passengers who prefer to sleep, put in their headphones or zone out during flights will be able to opt-out of sharing their personal information. "

Uh, actually, I would rather sit next to this person. I do not want to "chat" or "share my interests" with anyone when I'm traveling.

Yeah, otherwise that might lead to ghastly results.

Can you check out your potential seat-mate's weight and odor as well?

I tend to sleep, zone, or read on flights. I have no particular interest in socializing on a plane.
