Look at the virtual cults of personality that spring around things like Lady Gaga and people like Derek Jeter. It's disturbing, because at least back in the day, you had to do something, like have the power of life or death over people, before you got that sort of treatment. Now, you get it for a lousy autotuned to hell and back home-made pop song.

So yes, Barbara is completely right and it's a damning indictment of our times.

There are other talents besides acting, singing or dancing. In the entertainment world writing comedy/being a comedian is another talent, and if we look beyond the entertainment world there are plenty more talents than that.

But if you are in the entertainment world and you can't sing, act, dance or do comedy then you are pretty much without devoid of any talent. This is where these girls are.
