Meh, he's an ex cop, he should know cops don't apologize.

After killing your third wife, you don't get the benefit of the doubt any more.

The Huffington Post adds that Peterson will be portrayed by actor Rob Lowe this January in a Lifetime movie

I'll only watch that if he does it the role as Chris Traeger.

Lifetime movies are horrible.

The I.S.P. should say that they'll apologize if the fourth wife is there in person to act as a sort of witness.......

2011-12-15 11:44:00 AM
I'll give him an apology. By apology, I mean a crowbar up side his head 10-20 times.

basemetal: Meh, he's an ex cop, he should know cops don't apologize.

An apology is an admission of wrongdoing which means you get sued and lose. If you are giong to apologize, you don't do it until you've finalized a settlement.

On a side note, I've managed to live with my wife for 12 years without killing her. Is this really such a difficult thing? Maybe it helps that we don't have any life insurance on her.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably killed it's wife. Again.

There's no mystery, she simply disappeared. Now let's have no more curiosity about this bizarre cover-up.

And each new wife was the woman he cheated on his previous wife with when he was married to her. You'd think there would a realization that something could be going wrong in there...
/yes, he was cheating on #4.
//yes he was engaged to the new one after #4 disappeared.
///does ANYONE really think he didn't take out #3 and #4?

Huh. I knew about this case, but was doing some background reading in the Wikipedia and found this link:

Link (new window)

I'm sure the guy's a murderer and a real asshole, but he was never even remotely a fugitive, not even in the OJ sense of not pulling over for the cops.

So this leads me to wonder how many other of the AMW 'fugitives captured' are bullshiat, or maybe someone who didn't get a court summons because they moved?

I need to find me more women with self esteem issues. I dunno about women but if I was seeing a woman that had been married 3 or 4 times , marriage sure as hell wont be in our future.

I think that if you can disappear someone and national scrutiny doesn't reveal any trace that you should automatically qualify for a CIA agent position.

Guaranteed C. Women with very low self-esteem are shockingly desperate. The wife has been talking to this old acquaitence and the situations that women keeps setting herself up for are ridiculous. Its like watching a ship plow straight into an iceberg at slow speed, but instead of turning away it simply grinds itself to pieces.

The initial disappearing isn't the "impressive" part, that just takes proper planning. Its being under scrutiny for Wife #3 and still managing to off Wife #4 that makes me raise an eyebrow.

Drew Peterson has been locked up for 31 months and still does not have a firm trial date. If I was his lawyer I would have the case called early and motion a speedy trial demand or tell the judge "ready" at the status hearing.

Five different women were dumb enough to marry this asshole. fark them, they should've chosen better.

So, its safe to say that women should stop dating men named Peterson, because it usually ends up in the women being dead or "missing."

Crewmannumber6: He did it again?!?!?!?!?!?!?

No, this is the same media hoopla from 5 years ago man. They never solved that case even though media all but managed to convict him, the courts never have.

Frankly, I don't think they have enough evidence against him and what will happen is that eventually his lawyers are going to sue the pants off the city/state and probably win.

This is a pretty good example of the police believing a theory that is unprovable, which makes you wonder why they went this place in the first place. I mean, the entire theory that this guy killed his 4th wife is based around the fact that he may have killed his 3rd wife, despite not being able to prove it.

It's almost like the cops went back to the third wife to justify their gut feeling about wife #4, instead of the other way around.

Anyway, I really don't know if this guy is guilty or not. I do know that the police investigating this case and the prosecutor have probably set it up so that even if he is, he's going to walk.

I agree. Tommy Lee Jones seems better for the part.
