Can't wait to see it at home (this is a bookmark).

Back when I was a long-haired asshole rock and roller, my band used to play this song. I used to do the air-raid siren effect with a slide on my guitar. Worked pretty well, actually.

well played. really

It just doesn't sound right. Maybe the song needs Ozzy screaming over the instruments.

I don't know about the technical aspect of his playing. Was it good?

It was an ok cover but I'm not really sure how this is impressive. It's not a complex song and there's very little actual transposition when you go from guitar to piano - essentially, if you know how to play the song on one instrument, it's not hard to adapt it to the other

The timing was all sorts of odd and random. He also kept adding shiat that didn't belong there in the first place throwing the timing even further the the shiatter.

This (new window) is a much more interesting piano cover of Metallica's "Orion"

A far better cover by the same person, Machine Head's Aesthetics of Hate.

Yeah, but it's better in 720p

dFunk: I like Cake's funky cover of War Pigs (new window).

Agreed.

Also, isn't his rhythm off a bit? The timing seems inconsistent.

This guy's rhythm is boned. He tried to do the syncopation and whatnot, but he almost always paused too long when he did. The straight sections aren't that bad.

As much as I like the Dresden Dolls, I won't post their War Pigs cover. It isn't very good.

Yeah, the guitar riff seems to slow a bit on the little parts between verses. Reminds me of my bands...

It's a girl. But please, continue explaining to me all that you observed during this piece.

Grammatically speaking, it is ok and traditionally correct to refer to an unknown with male pronouns.

Check her other songs. Had her on my YT subs for a while now.

I don't understand. Would all of these mistakes be absolved if he knew that the pianist was a woman?

This wasn't her best outing, however. Many of her other videos do show a lot more of her skill. Also she's the only person I'm aware of who has broken a piano string during a performance.

She broke a string on a Bosendorfer grand at a live concert. Yeah, check out her other videos. Toxicity was on here a while ago, and is truly great, but just browse through others with lots of views. She started out as a classical pianist -- if you use her full name on Amazon there are a couple of Rachmaninoff tracks still available.

I see your piano cover of "War Pigs" and raise you an organ cover of "Roundabout"

I would have been surprised if this had been anyone but Vika Yermolyeva. Leaving satisfied.

Ryker's Peninsula: THAT'S NOT A FREAKING PIANO!!

Yes, because there's such a difference in experience when you're watching it on a crappy flash video.
