no!

Yep.

/I would adore seeing the Obama campaign just recycle the attacks used by the losers of the primaries.

Better question. Will we be able to tell the difference between Obama winning and a repub winning.

Easiest way to ensure stability in a one party system is make it look like a multiparty democracy.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Yyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss.

Maybe. Remember, if you can get retards to believe an arugula-eating, binder clip-using, Yuengling-drinking, no flag pin wearing president is a threat, it shouldn't be tough to get them to think that he vetoed the payroll tax cut extension on its own merits.

That and SOPA. I want to see the Patriot Act be dismantled too.

However, if I had to pick between Obama and the current challengers I'd rather Obama. At least he's mostly honest and hasn't flip flopped much. Nor will he try to force his Big Government theocratic solutions on me.

Of course. They know that the economy will remain in the crapper for a few more years, no matter who is in charge. They need to have a (D) to blame things on.

Why would they want to do that? It's better for them to point the finger at the president and say "Darky McDarkerston vetoed your payroll tax cut extension!" while conveniently leaving out "because of all the dogshiat we put in the bill". They already do this shiat with blue dog democrats - "Obama signed to extend the Bush tax cuts!" while leaving out "because he had to compromise to expand the START treaty and extend unemployment benefits."

Hell no. Neither side knows how to fix anything, that's perfectly evident.

I'm holding out for a 3rd party.

Wanna start the Technocratic party with me? It's a pretty sweet gig. Won't matter this year, or next, because these things take time.

This is exactly what they are counting on. The administration knows that the public will give them an effective pass on this abhorent bill (and most other things), simply because the sheep have it in their minds that voting Republican is evil. Thanks for playing along.

I had little issue with giving Obama my vote until this defense bill. Now I'm giving it to him just to keep the Republicans at bay. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Yeah, equal rights are never a crowd pleaser. It's best to stick with oppression. That seems to be where people's heads are at today.

Let me know how that works out for you.

This. The choice is between a sandwich where you get a mouthful of shiat every few bites, or one where the buns are week old hard crusty turds with fresh turds as meat along with a special sauce made of santorum.

If Republicans can't win in 2012, what has to happen to make them viable?

That's why I'm concerned about the upcoming election. This is the Republican's time to win. If they can't beat a black president with 8.5% unemployment, when will they win?

They "win" a lot by stealing elections so I wouldn't be worried to much.

Well, the GOP only seems interested in farking over the poor and middle classes to benefit the wealthiest most powerful Americans these days...

While I'm surer that's a sound strategy if you happen to be one of the wealthiest, most powerful Americans, I'm not sure how that'll play with the majority of the peons.

They do seem to be able to get yokels and shiat kickers to continually vote against their own interests, so they've got that going for them.
