That's on the DVD set. Old news.

Wow. That's f*cking terrible.

Kinda surprised the writers didn't lobby to keep that one. Would've shaved six-and-a-half minutes' worth of dialogue off of every episode.

Season 1 of Magnum P.I. had a horrible disco song instead of what we all remember.

A calypso song sung by the front man of a mariachi band. Interesting.

Yes, it was a big week for entertainment. The final act of Animal House (the parade & riot) is set then, the setting of Doctor Who's "An Unearthly Child", then there was the filming of that Zabruder flick, a still shot in "Rose", the setting of "Remembrance of the Daleks", the airing of "An Unearthly Child", the setting of the K-9 episode "The Cambridge Spy", the filming of the Gilligan's Island opening credits, not to mention the settings of numerous TV movies and episodes.

Why was the millionaire bringing his golf clubs on a 6 hour tour....I think that song stated 6 hours...not the 3 we've come to know and love.

Either way...what's with the clubs?

Ginger had much style and grace
Which some men hoped to debase
But when they were all polled
And the truth it was told
Most want Mary-Anne on their face

Why are a millionaire and his wife taking a three-hour tour on a dump like the SS Minnow, anyhow? Maryann, yes. The Professor, yes. The Howells? No. Same with "movie star" Ginger.

/I know, I know, suspension of disbelief.

The video being from 2009 should have been subby's first clue that this was old news. Since this was the song used on the pilot in 1964, I'm pretty sure most people have happened across it by now.

Among others, why was the millionaire hiring a cheap small tour boat and sharing with the great unwashed? He had the cap but he didn't have a yacht?

I can only assume that the Howells had some time to kill in between something else. By Mr. Howell's actions in that video, his decision to go on the boat seemed spur-of-the-moment.

I wonder what the correlation coefficient between preferring Mary-Anne over Ginger and preferring Bailey over Jennifer is. I'm guessing it is pretty damn high.

Not fashionable, but correct. Mary Ann was the girl next door and selfless. Ginger, while attractive in her own rite, was more selfish and attention whorey.

Probably the same as the much older question of betty or veronica.

Why choose - why not have both Betty and Veronica.

Since we're choosing, I'll take Betty Rubble and Lois Griffin.

Couldn't give a crap about the song, but after seeing that hot picture of Ginger I did learn one important fact.... the SHAMWOW most definitely does NOT clean jizz off a computer keyboard.

More like a 30 second tour for me. And she probably wouldn't be too impressed with my minnow.

I'm glad they didn't keep that one. That would have been really hard to put to the tune of "Amazing Grace".
