As someone who works with women who have been in prison (and are at high risk of recidivism), I feel rather pissed off at the editorial bullshiat at wikipedia on this. I hope they revise the article and explain what they mean. That website is surprisingly dangerous in some ways, and surprisingly able to save lives in others. Yeah, it is dangerous to the inmates, who can basically hook up with pimps for when they get released, but it can also give meaning to lives that were otherwise meaningless or fraught with very painful self-images.
