I spent a few years working as a bouncer in the town where I was attending college.

Generally the disruption caused by everyone knowing someone's a stripper in a somewhat consequence-free environment like college makes the job undesirable. I only knew of one that attended the local college. Be most accounts it was a disruptive part of her life and she was the kind of person that just seemed to thrive on the chaos and perpetually bad decisions.

However I would say at least half had "something" going on for education. They were either saving up, attending a four-year quite a-ways away as to avoid the stigma and hope no one would recognize them or were doing some sort of trade schooling (hair and makeup were, naturally, popular).

I never saw any hooking going on. Of course part of my job was to discourage that sort of thing.
