Under arrest, on one count of being a bear.

Only in Canada do people throw away perfectly good bears.

The bear was the size of a large household cat. Some victory.

Headline sure got me at attention.

NSFW link showing his large testicles?

*clicks*... There was nothing in that article about testicles at all! Way to troll Subby.

So this Canadian cop wrestles a bear while another Canadian cop opens fire on a baby cow? Forgive me for being a stupid American, but is it just that west coast Canadians have more stones than the east coast?

Not to mention more drugged up than Kieth Richards. That wasn't "wrestled" more like "pried the comatose beast".

Even though "wrestling" a small bear that's been tranquilized so heavily that it appears they didn't even cage it for transport doesn't really take exceptional testicals, and some cattle can get pretty aggressive when agitated/cornered, after seeing the cow video I'm going to go with...yes.

I wouldn't pick most household cats up by the neck, either.

Tranquilized small bear. Kinda like handling a drunk.

The guy that shot the cow should have his badge ripped from his shirt. Bucket of feed and a neck halter, dipshiat.

I can understand shooting the cow. That's enough steak charging around to kill a human. Once the bovine has been worked up and is a charging around in a panicked state, you shoot it. However you do not shoot them with your service pistol. You get a damn rifle (or buck shot if you must) and drop it.

Out here when one gets lose it normally involves a pair of cops shadowing it until someone can show up with a rifle deal with it. I guess if it was about to charge into a school or something than maybe you'd try to drop it with your Glock.

That was a small cow, with plenty of room to run, who was no danger to anybody who wasn't an idiot (ergo, in that video, guys with badges). Shooting it only demonstrated a distinct lack of knowing what the fark one is doing.

I don't really know the context of where cow shooter was, or where cow was heading, but I have to say I do find him shooting the cow repugnant ... because he didn't use the proper firearm.

Pistols are too weak to do a proper job of killing a cow, you just end up torturing it.

Things I didn't see in that video:

1) A Bear
2) A Cop
3) Testicles

/seriously, I couldn't see shiat in that video
//cow shooting cops should be fired before they run into something that's actually dangerous
///Cows are not life threatening when you can just climb on to or inside a car

This is sick! That bear was a peaceful protester participating in Occupy Garbage Truck, and you guys are cheering the cops that drugged and dragged him away from the scene? You Farkers ought to be ashamed of yourselves. >:(

Here's the correct procedure for capturing a loose cow: Put hay or feed out for cow. While cow is eating, put rope or halter on cow and move to safety. If the cow is not hungry, proceed straight to "put rope or halter on cow and move to safety". Can a cow hurt you? Of course. Should your first course of action, when confronted by a loose cow, be to unload 2 clips into said cow? NOOOOOO! Christ on a cracker, a 12 year old country kid could have handled that situation, yet 4 patrol cars go all Waco on the damn thing.

Maybe I'm really drunk (more than likely) but dickhead cop had no business shooting the cow. I has a sad now.

WTH? The normal response to a loose cow in your area is to shoot it? I grew up on a cattle ranch and if you don't have a bucket of feed and a halter/rope, the next best thing (so long as you're not an incompetent dumbass like the cops in the video) is to walk behind it waving your arms and yelling "hyah" to get it to go the direction you want it to go. Hell, I've been in a crowd that a rodeo bull got loose into and they didn't have to shoot it. Like I said before, cattle can be aggressive if they're cornered, but they also have very short attention spans, which means they generally calm down just as fast as they got riled up.

At least this time when a bruin went to Vancouver it didn't result in rioting.
