I had the exact same surgery today. The not-blowing-the-nose thing is driving me batshiat.

but the pain killers are OK amiright

and yeah, its very annoying. I've got a few more days till the stitches dissolve so I think after that I'll be fine. And I'm a tea freak so I've been drinking luke warm tea and that sucks big time!

There was some bizarre advice about putting a teabag on my wound if bleeding kept occurring.

I'm going with the wine, Tramadol, and soup recovery plan.

Haven't needed the painkillers... I've been lucky, so far. Lukewarm tea sucks - as does lukewarm coffee. Blech.
