For people who can put two suitcases of money into their trunk, £2m isn't a lot of money. They can certainly afford it.

2011-12-14 03:11:03 AM
Screw plastic. Why use that when you can cart around convenient suitcases of cash.

2011-12-14 03:22:26 AM
Yeah, pity the dumbasses couldn't pull it off without getting caught, no-one cares about stealing pocket change from the uber rich (although, the money is probably stolen from their subjects anyway)

'The royal family were in the UK and required money for their stay here."

Wow, if only there was some faster and safer way of transferring funds electronically...

for that much money, I'm sure they could have a solid gold credit card, would be just as flashy as a suitcase full of cash.

From reading TFA, had the bad guys shot the money loaders, they would have got away. That might be the beer typing though.

Dear lord, I have an aunt & uncle like that. Not millions, but tens of thousand. Had a wreck & wouldn't let the ambulance take them to ER until tgeur duffel of money inthe trunk was secured. Crazy people. We are digging up their land when they die.

Yes, my favourite part of the story is where the armed police caught the guys, recovered the cash and all without a deadly shoot out.

HAHAHAHA

Fark the Saudi 'royal' family. Their wealth comes from the oil on the land they took by cutting of the heads of opposing tribes. Once their oil runs out (or we finaly move to renewable fuels) they will go back to being dirt encrusted rock farmers.

Anybody that rips off the rich is a hero. Make the useless scum worried. Make em keep looking over their shoulder like they do on south america and central america because they are constantly crapping their pants over being kidnapped.

Oh, if only living in the UK and the US was as wonderful as living in Nicaragua... That certainly is something we should aspire to.

So subby is blaming the victim for being robbed? I see a bunch of of half-naked women marching up and down the street in front of his house in the near future. This accomplishes something but I don't know what it is.

If blaming the victim gets me a bunch of half-naked women marching up and down the street in front of my house... the victim was at fault.

What do they have to do with this?

Not sure how glad they should be that they were caught. Someone with pockets that deep probably has connections in low places to make their lives a living hell in jail. Whereas, if they escaped - I'm pretty sure the victims know a thug or two that wouldn't mind retrieving the money with extreme prejudice.

Don't piss off an Arab with money. It never ends well.

blah blah blah

Check out a documentary called "Ransom City" and you'll see a whole mess of rich people that fully understand their money DOESN'T allow them to "walk between the raindrops". Matter of fact their money keeps them cowering behind walls and if you think thats an exaggeration go see it.

I laughed my ass off through the whole thing.

Eat the rich

How the hell do you spend that much money on vacation? Is it even possible? Are they planning on buying a small island while they're there? I realize the gift shop is expensive, but that just seems excessive. Short of buying real estate or going insane at a casino, I don't think I could spend even one million in a year's time. Not that I wouldn't mind trying.

Damn, wouldn't that exceed the weight limits of most vehicles?

Silly Brits.

Whores, drug dealers and human traffickers probably don't take Visa, I guess. Too bad the thieves got caught.
