Will we be fine with it as a species? Eh, yeah, probably.

Will we be cool with it as a society? Yeeeeeeah, probably not. If it's sufficient to shift the currents you're talking about the food-producing regions of the globe and best-yield crops shifting somewhat dramatically. While the species in general will be all "ok, fine, so long as we still _have_ food and such" that's not the kind of thing that nation-states are known for weathering well-- ask Europe how stable the balance of power was during their last set of fluctuations.

Unfortunately, by the time it takes them to get to acceptance, we'll all be wearing environmental suits.

The human race could use a fresh start. Maybe if it killed off a random 1/3 of the population of Earth we could start making progress again and get the hell off this shiatty rock instead of killing each other over who gets to squeeze the last dollar out of the crumbling petrochemical industry.

I live in Michigan. Michigan ends up looking pretty good in all the global warming models I've seen.
