Sometimes I hear about an endorsement and I suddenly pity the endorsee. It's almost like there's a conspiracy for character assassination afoot in these cases.

Course, Gingrich don't have no character no how.

From Wikipedia article on Gary Busey:

In May 1995, Busey was arrested for cocaine possession after being hospitalized for an overdose of cocaine and GHB.

On August 20, 1997, Busey was accused of pushing a stewardess who bumped him on a flight to Las Vegas. Upon the flight's landing, he was questioned by police, but no charges were filed.

On January 25, 1999, Busey was arrested after a fight with his wife. He was released on bail.

On December 2, 2001, Busey was again arrested for spousal abuse after his ex-wife Tiani Warden called authorities, complaining he left her bruised. Busey was released on $50,000 bail.

On September 7, 2004, Busey's landlord filed a lawsuit to evict him because Busey had refused to pay his rent for about three months.

On Sept 23, 2004, Busey was arrested for showing up late to a spousal support court hearing. His lawyer bailed him out two-and-a-half hours later.

Yep, his endorsement is political gold.

all Gingrich needs now is an endorsement by Victoria Jackson and he will have the insane vote pretty well wrapped up.

You don't have to be insane to endorse Newt, but it helps."

I've known a few party animals that were actually worth listening to cause they were smart and read a lot. Not many at all though.

Busey strikes me as the kind of "wildman" who in reality is nothing but an asshole with a big mouth. I suppose i could be wrong.

The dude really did suffer traumatic brain injury. In reality, he's a dude who still suffers from long term issues associated with a head injury.

Make more sense now?

In all seriousness, I work with a guy who had a terrible head injury. We all love him, he's a funny, amiable guy. Every since he got knocked, though, he repeats himself a lot and asks the same question over and over again.

/hurts to see it man

I forget: Is this a day where we shouldn't have to listen to the liberal l Hollyweird elite because the only thing they can do is act and there political opinions are no important than my dog's OR is it a day where actors offer valuable insight to the political process because they got famous by grabbing their bootstraps?

Listen, listen, listen.
I could snap your campaign with one word from my crazy, crazy mouth.
I could raise my voice up and loosen your fundraising ability, knock you down in the polls, grab you by the lip, pull you up and tell you I'll be right back to endorse you again.
While we're here, we're all looking for an endorsement of ourselves.
Crazy sayings, head wounds and awful policy proposals - it's like a round robin.
I'm endorsing you.
In the name of insanity and everything insanity stands for.
And remember this: Head wounds are only the beginning, they're not the final skeleton in my closet.

This actually provides valuable insight into Newt as a candidate. Busey would never endorse a candidate who couldn't drink a gallon of milk in one hour.

2011-12-12 07:18:06 PM
The question is, who will get the lucrative N. E. Swinging Dick endorsement?

Oh, nevermind, I think this article covered it.

well, considering: "hold your tongue, wench!" is probably one of the best lines cinematic history, i think the definition of "good" is quite clearly demarcated here...
