Someone complained that the officers were playing with a bird? Thank god for that good Samaritan, I would hate to imagine a world where someone guarding such a tragic location gets a moment of joy out of his day.

You know, cops do a lot of things that annoy me. Serving as an unremorseful strongarm of a corrupt government, for example. But I really can't find a problem with this. FSM forbid that we allow the cops to have a bit of levity and be reminded that they are human beings once in a while.
