Snooping also leaves precious little time for commenting on Fark.

More of a mental workout. And an exercise in "holding it".

It's easy. Don't date someone you don't trust, and trust your partner to have a good reason to hide what he's hiding and thats that. Once you go looking for something, you'll find it, confirmation bias will make sure of that.

I don't know what they're talking about, walking a couple blocks and then shimmying up to a second or third story window is a lot more of a work out than it sounds.

That's wrong. I just found proof that confirmation bias can't exist not ten seconds after starting the search.

Snooping... Is that the new codeword for taking the brown acid at Woodstock?

This has to be the biggest piece of horseshiat 'science'/'medical advice'/lifestyle column I've read in a very long time.

Let's break down the logical leaps made in this piece of sh*t article:

1. People who snoop are worriers and worried,
2. Worrying can make you fat.

therefore, people who snoop will get fat.

seriously MSNBC?

Haha they're trying to surreptitiously teach people about logic proofs, don't you know?

2011-12-11 06:17:14 AM
Or look up what homes sold for on your street?

Really? That's considered snooping?

I do that all the time. I even have Google alerts set up to alert me of recent transactions. I don't call it snooping. I call it keeping abreast of the real estate market in my neighborhood. Since I'm always thinking about selling my house and moving out of the city, being well informed makes good sense.

So what you're saying is...journalists are fat and stressed.

Good to know.

2011-12-11 08:46:20 AM
This seems like a classic correlation is not causation thing, but now I can't help but wonder if my ex's thunder thighs had more to do with her personality type than all those pints of ice cream.

It'd be so much easier to get away with if we had an edit function.
So it goes.

But if we had an edit button, none of the threads would make any sense, because people would go back and edit their distressingly stupid comments as soon as everyone started making fun of them.

Oh, the article--if you're the type of person who snoops on others, you're a control freak and probably stressed out all the time, because it's hard to control others without being completely obvious about it. So I hope you do get fat and then die of a heart attack.

/Have known way too many of those assholes.

What is this? I don't even....

Since when is it considered snooping to look up publically displayed information?
