coco ebert: My parents have old Mad paperbacks from the '60s. I still read them when I'm visiting and they're still pretty damn funny. Glad to hear Al Jaffee is still kickin'.

I inherited some when I was a kid. It's what got me started on Mad in 3rd grade. Can't remember the last time I really enjoyed the mag though...maybe mid-90s. Cracked - carbon copy that it is - had a period where I thought it was better. John Severin's art alone made Cracked worth picking up.

Loves me some Jaffee though.
