It looks like Chubby is a girl. The Farkscot is definitely a boy...or a girl who needs a bustier of some sort.

He would have to put on another five pounds or so; hawks and owls around here can haul away over twice their own weight.

I say chubby is male. See bottom center in first picture. The fat rolls make it look smaller.

Squirrel mating season is in about a month. As biologists say, time to get scrotal. Seriously, "scrotal" is the word they use for "hung like Fark squirrel."

In case some of you missed it, the squirrel, in all his Vitruvian splendor, is available at the Fark store.

/Thanks to those of you who have already noticed

Good thing the chair the squirrel is sitting on didn't have slats, or we would have some thread crossover potential going on.

High fructose corn syrup is made from corn, a natural grain product. It contains no artificial or synthetic ingredients or color additives and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration listed it as safe for use in food in 1983 and reaffirmed the decision in 1996.

Furthermore, credible, peer-reviewed research by Linda M. Zukley, et al. at the Rippe Lifestyle Institute studied the effects of high fructose corn syrup and sucrose on triglycerides in a study group of lean women. This short-term study found ?no differences in the metabolic effects in lean women [of HFCS] compared to sucrose,? and called for further similar studies of obese individuals or individuals at risk for the metabolic syndrome.

As many dietitians agree, all sugars should be consumed in moderation as part of a balanced lifestyle.

Consumers can see the latest research and learn more about high fructose corn syrup at www.CornSugar.com.

Yeah that is false advertisement calling it corn sugar, even the FDA is getting pissed that they are calling it that. It may not be worse than sugar, but high fructose corn syrup is in almost every type of processed food item in the country, when it doesn't need to be.

A President of a corn industry group claims there is no problem by cherry-picking one study. Well, that settles it then!

Apparently there's some weird stuff going in with hfcs due to fructose being metabolized by the liver, unlike other sugars. Or something.

Anyway soda is now banned from this house. Regardless of it's safety, anything with hfcs is almost guaranteed to be trash, government subsidized trash at that.

Fat squirrel is fat, and super cute.
