Time for some predictions

Arsenal v Everton - 2:0 Moyes has done a great job with no money but the Arse are going too strong for Everton
Bolton v Aston Villa - 0:1 This will be a real snoozefest
Liverpool v QPR - 2:1 QPR will get a 12th man in the form of the posts and 'Pool are brittle.
Man Utd v Wolves - 3:1 Furgason will have ripped into the team and the players will be scared
Norwich v Newcastle - 2:2 Norwich can score against any one and so can Newcastle. Issue will be both defences with Newcastle having no central defenders fit and Norwich shipping too many goals
Swansea v Fulham - 1:1 Good football on displaye but no real cutting edge
West Brom v Wigan - 1:0 relagation knifefight and lots of "action" but no skill

Celtic v Hearts coming up this afternoon. Mon the Hoops!

My predictions for today's games:

Arsenal will end up beating Everton after struggling unnecessarily, and RvP will not score.Aaron Ramsey will finally find the net.

Man U will tie the Wolves 1-1 or 2-2

Aston Villa will find their mojo against Bolton and come back after being down a goal to win by one, 2-1

Liverpool will struggle against QPR but will win easily in the second half.

Fulhham 2, Swans 0

West Brom 2, Wigan 1

NUFC 3, Norwich 2. Will be the match of the week in terms of highlights

Ferguson hasn't ripped players enough to show any positive results since the City match. Come on reds, only have FA Cup and the league left now, let's catch up to the noisy neighbours.

Langston: Liverpool will struggle against QPR but will win easily in the second half.

I wish I was as confident as you are on this one. No Lucas already hurt, but no Spearing might kill us. I genuinely have no idea who Kenny puts in the holding spot.

Liverpool 1 - 1 QPR, if not a last minute QPR winner. Maybe from Faurlin following up Reina spilling a Barton cross.

I predict fulham follows up a win over pool with a disappointing result against the swans.

I don't know. I just saw the team for today. Kuyt in for Carroll. Maxi in for Bellamy. I like it just for those 2 alone.

Even with injuries, MU has a lot of talent on the team and it's hard to argue SAF's coaching credibility. They're a bit banged up, but always dangerous. Anybody that fails to respect them will learn their error quickly. As an Arsenal, supporter, I know this too well.

Norfolking Chance: Man Utd v Wolves - 3:1 Furgason will have ripped into the team and the players will be scared

When was the last time Utd scored more than one goal in a game? What happened to that exciting, free-flowing young team we saw at the beginning of the season?

I'm beginning to think that there really is something seriously wrong with Utd's medical/training staff. Sure, every team gets injuries -- but Utd seems to have an awful lot of players who get reinjured repeatedly. And it's not as if its just old crocks like Michael Owen (who has been known to pull a hamstring lacing up his boots): a lot of the young players have been in and out, most notably the da Silva twins.

And yes, Spurs and Arsenal have a lot of names on the injury list too -- but Utd's injured players would (almost without exception) be starting in almost any XI in the premier league.

Dunno what's up with Fletcher. Jones still isn't a midfielder. Fryers on the bench. 1-0.

ADubs86: I genuinely have no idea who Kenny puts in the holding spot.

Here's a radical idea. A holding player might not be completely necessary at home to a promoted team.

/Ignore me. I'm just old and grumpy.

Considering our performance with a holding midfielder against the other two promoted teams, I'm not feeling to good about a game without one.

Also, this thread better become an El Clasico thread at 4:00P

czetie: When was the last time Utd scored more than one goal in a game? What happened to that exciting, free-flowing young team we saw at the beginning of the season?

It went with all the injuries and the form of Rooney. With Rooney out of sorts (i suspect because he is being double marked out of the game because he doesn't get the support) plus the loss of a real presence in the midfield. You can have all the pace and skill on the wings you like but without some one in the midfield to boss the game you will always have trouble. How many games has Carrick played?

But Wolves are the 4th or 5th worst team in the league and don't have the ability to shut down ManU. It will take indaviduals to step up as the team isn't working well but I am sure a couple of people will step up.

That worked so well against Norwich. Take the promoted teams lightly and you will pay. Unless Suaez can dive you a couple of points. Its like watching a Ronaldo knock off.

I like that fulham has the best GD in the league outside the top 7 and yet sits in 13th. The story was the same last year.

Hopefully a win today could vault the whites into the top half.

Gonna be a tough game for NUFC out there. I'm looking forward to seeing what Santooon can do though, I'd be very satisfied with a draw,
