Lowe's probably took it back for a store credit. Nothing annoyed me more than the take everything back return policy. Absolute idiocy. I remember seeing a USED toilet seat in my return cart one time. We even took back painted fencing.
Best story I had was when an old guy argued with the store manage and myself, that we had moved the bathrooms from the front of the store to the back.

/ by the way, all the black cocking is on Aisle 3.
