Scrotal fluid, semen, and blood?

Here's (new window)a rather long speech by Mike Rowe covering this subject among some others. If you don't already love this guy, this will put it over the top. Well worth the time.

I don't even know how this relates to twilight as I haven't seen any of the movies, books or even care enough to read it on wikipedia.

Did you watch it? Than you may be a word that rhymes with nay

But Paula Deen says this technique results in a much more succulent lamb.

FTA -- The patients both suffered from diarrhea and one also had abdominal cramps, fever, nausea and vomiting. Just think how the poor little lamb felt.

On a similar note, I killed two deer this morning, and in the course of field-dressing them I tossed the Weeners of one at my little brother.

If I recall, Mike Rowe had gone on to explain why they use this method in a TED speech. Basically it was faster, more humane, and herders have been doing it in similar fashion for hundreds of years.

The state recommended method is (in retrospect) safer for the farmer but more painful and lingering for the lamb.
Its a situation of some ivory tower professor-of-farming writing instructions that no one in the business follows.

/Altho I figure "don't eat the poo" should have been discussed more than knots VS crimping VS snipping.

little known fact: Marlon Brando did this before filming every scene in the Godfather

OK people, cut it out. It doesn't take a lot of balls to hurt a defenseless animal. These guys are pricks and deserve to be locked up. I don't know what the hay is wrong with them but they, and others like them, should all be corralled and put away. The shear stupidity of their actions is only outweighed by their dickishness. I'd like to bust both of them right in the chops...

I can smell your coont taint from here!...I doubt the lambs stayed silent for this one.

2011-12-09 01:37:47 PM
Holy shiat, that's just so wrong. Serious, WTF wrong.

We keep most of the ram lambs that we raise intact, even if we're positive that they're going to the butcher and will not end up as breeding stock. They grow faster and there are fewer urinary tract problems. If we do need to wether a lamb, we use an elastrator - painless and non-traumatic for the sheep.

WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK??!

how can you not have heard about the cesarean with teeth birthing scene? it's the only reason i really, really want to see the last twilight movie.
well, that and the fact that it means two more kick-ass rifftrax are in the works. let's face it, the only reason twilight was made was for rifftrax.

You're missing the point that this is not odd behavior. City folks. What are you going to do to the guy that de-beaks the chicken you eat?

They bite those off too? I guess if it's just a peck, I don't mind, but if they deep throat the whole chicken head...

Keep farking that chicken.
