Patton is one of the funniest stand ups alive right now but I gotta agree he is an ugly mofo. He looks like a cabbage patch kid all grown up.

Is he the one that tells the Brian Dennehy story in his standup?

Will their love scene be demonstrated by pushing a cornish game hen through a set of wrinkly grey drapes?

He is. That's part of a bit about BD doing commercial spots for ESPN.

Looong, hilarious discussion of the movie on Comedy Bang Bang last week. Link goes to full episode. You should really be listening to this show anyway.

Lot of theater of the mind on CBB, though. You've been warned. It's basically "LA Comedy Scene, the show".

yogaFLAME: Patton's brand of humor just wouldn't be the same if he weren't goblin-esque.

When he performed at the Warner Theater a year or two ago, he came on the mic before the opening act came out and referred to himself as a "paunchy hobbit."

Perhaps a KFC Famous Bowl is involved.

Either that or he murders George Lucas with a bag of rock salt.

My scenes with her would be disappointing and last about 3 minutes.

Ha! 3 minutes. Check out Casanova over here.

Mine would be a cumulative 3 minutes with 2 minutes and 30 seconds being just brooding, apologies, and self disgust.

Actually, that was Robert Evans doing the commercial spots for ESPN. Brian Dennehy was the "Character actors! Who cares if we're fat!" line.

Doesn't Patton play a gay character in that movie?

According to Ebert, he got beat up in school for being gay but wasn't actually gay.

Patton is actually a very versatile actor. Check out the range of emotions he displays in this scene from King of Queens...

Unixfreak: After reading this article, I have to guess subby is a liberal. Really extrapolated the shiat out of this article to suit his message.

Yeah, I'm puzzled. The article was about how she hates to do table reads, or read from a script out lout as rehearsal. Nothing in reference to Patton.

Also, there was the story of Robert Evans being punched in the solar plexus by a heroin-crazed Brian Dennehy, and shiatting out 4 rubiks cubes fully solved.

I said "scene". I figure it takes in the neighborhood of 2:45 to get Ms. Theron new wardrobe and a more appealing male lead. But I do appreciate that you would give me the benefit of the doubt as far as my performance.

Patton Oswald is extremely unattractive. That he is short and fat does not help.

/ he's not that funny either.

Can't YT at work, so bookmarking for later. Is this the scene where he's got no dialogue, so the writers suggested that he remain still for the whole thing, even the camera changes?

Go rent "The Comedians of Comedy." Low-budget production values, but funny stuff.

Headline: Patton Oswald is so gross Charlize had to get drunk to be near him.

Article: Charlize Theron has a Phobia about table reads and had to drink a lot to go to some guy named Jason's house.

Yep, this is Fark

Yeah, that's the one. Staring straight ahead, not moving, while the entire scene takes place around him. If you didn't know better you'd think they just replaced him with a cardboard standup.
