These movies are always a big reminder that my Facebook friends are morans.

Personally I want both Bay and Shia LaBeouf back. I like them both and think the Transformer movies, all three, are great flicks.

I made it halfway through the second movie, and a half hour into the third. Forget that crap.

I usually find enjoyment in any movie. I've watched Waterworld, Postman, Hot Chick, White Chicks, and Grown Ups all more than once. But these Transformer sequels, oh my GOD they're so awful.

I'm glad I only downloaded them.

What's Michael Bay's version of coy? Did a flaming man run through the room the interview was in yelling "Bay AINT talking about Transformers"

It's a true statement apeiron242, I just don't share a lot of peoples opinions here on the movies. I think they're fun flicks. Heck they're the first three flicks I bought for my new Blu-ray player and they look beautiful I must say.

I remember seeing that movie in the theaters with the family. As we were leaving, they were gushing about it. When they asked me what I thought, I told them I hated it and went into detail on why I hated it and why I thought it was an insult to the people who died that day. Now they didn't say that I changed their minds, but nobody refuted me and they changed the topic. To this day, none of them ever mentioned the movie again let alone rewatch it.

I'm still proud of that.

I TRY avoiding being an elitist fuddy duddy, but there's no way around it. The bad movies from my youth are just WAY better than the bad movies of this current generation.

The plot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Vanilla Ice and all, interests me way more than anything shat out by the Transformers franchise.

It's supposed to be so bad it's good! Not so bad it's just bad.

The first movie was acceptable. The next 2 movies made no sense at all.

In number 2 they planned to explode the sun. This requires us to accept that megatron knew the allspark was on earth, wanted to terraform earth using it, but was still aware of the fallen's intention to explode the sun to provide energon to consume. Why would Megatron try to terraform the planet if his master (who pathetic) had every intention of exploding the sun to harvest energon.

I was lulled into believe the writer strike was the reason for this nonsense.

number 3 made even less sense. It requires us to accept that megatron knew there was a decepticon force on the moon and that the space bridge technology was available but in the first 2 films went after objectives that result in the extermination of the human race which was to be enslaved in the 3rd film in order to restore cybertron. It also requires us to believe megatron conveniently forgot to whistle up some reinforcements on the moon to help realize his initial 2 goals. It also requires us to believe any of these goals are logically compatible.

Just totally nonsensical plots in 2 and 3.

fark it, I like all 3 bay movies as visual orgies of rob-violence and 'splosions. 1 Is actually a fairly decent action movie. 2 sucks plot wise, 3 is actually okay, and is a better sequel to 1. I will be watching Trans4mers on IMAX whether it has Bay, Shia or whoever.

We got lots of robots fighting, even with all the human crap added to it. The problem is, it looked terrible. Here's my genius plan:

1. Transformers that look like Transformers, not swirling shards of metal.
2. A simple story that makes sense. The cube, the allspark...what hell is all that crap?
3. Frank Welker as Megatron. A personality for Megatron would be nice too.

The 3D effects in the 3rd one are extremely well done, especially during the car chase, and the characters, plot, and dialogue are OK enough to at least not aggrevate you so much that you can't appreciate the fight scenes. I would not bother watching it in 2D, though.

I heard that the reason you can actually appreciate the action is because 3D doesn't work unless you have at least 3 second cuts, because the brain can't register it. Therefore, Michael Bay couldn't use his shaky close up idiotic blur editing.
