Isn't there already a painkiller out there that combines aspirin and caffeine? It does work to get rid of headaches, but caffeine can cause really horrible bounceback headaches, so use it with care.

Basically it's Excedrin. Which you won't need if you hydrate the shiat out of yourself before you pass out.

I don't usually get hangovers, then again I rarely get sloppy drunk. I drank a whole bottle of rum a few weeks ago and was up and about the next morning, actually I think I was still little drunk. Either way if it started affecting my day after drinking I would probably not drink.

My friend used to booze like a champ but now he gets hangovers so bad even if he has two or three beers that his doctors thought it was a wheat allergy and when it wasn't they went through all kinds of tests to figure out why.They never did so they told him to lay off for a while and see if it got better. He didn't drink for 6 months then tried a chaser and had two vodka tonics one night. The next day his hangover was so much worse that he shiat the bed. Hopefully I can convince him that these will work and cause it to happen again.

Long story short, if you get hangovers that are so bad you need special hangover cures to help you, you're farked anyways so you might as well keep drinking.

Came to say this. "Blowfish" is basically Alka-Seltzer with a few added ingredients like sweeteners, etc. Probably tastes like crap.

Are diuretics and a stool softener really useful to treat hangovers? Usually diarrhea and dehydration go along with my bad hangovers. I just spend the day trying to replace electrolytes and water, though yes, I do still have coffee because coffee is awesome.

this. years ago I figured out that drinking a tall glass of water before bed cured me of the thumping headaches. 90% of it is dehydration.

At a certain age you learn to take food and other liquids along with your alcohol and the hang over thing stops. Until then, I think you are supposed to experience the pain to remind you that you are dehydrating your body. And that you are young, dumb, and....

Do know people who actually get hangovers? If one of my friends or relatives drank to the point that they were physically ill the next day, I would get them into treatment. When my wife turned twenty-one, she wanted to go to a bar and have her first glass of wine. Well, one glass turned into two, and I was so disappointed in her the next day that I told her that if she ever drank again, I was going to take our son and leave. Thank God she hasn't touched it since then because I would not want to live with someone like that. That's as bad off as I've ever seen anyone, though I can imagine some gutter bums who drink a six pack a night looking even worse. I don't wish any ill on them, it's just that I want them to get help and be healthy.
