As a native Illinoisan, I can say that my state produces the most gloriously corrupt governors. I'm so proud. He won't serve all 14 years, but the idea that his oldest daughter is 15 and could be approaching 30 by the time he gets out, should make him feel like the piece of shiat that he is.

2011-12-07 02:04:47 PM
That's a start. Now lets move on to the Congresscritters...

He's "unbelievably sorry."

That's correct. I don't believe he's sorry.

Enjoy the rape, asshole.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

King Something: What about his hair?

Won't give him much street cred in prison

Good old Chicago politics at it's best. They should start recruiting their candidates straight out of Joliet.

2011-12-07 02:08:01 PM
Don't pull this shiat unless the courts in your state are also corrupt.

Why isn't Obama sharing a cell? He obviously knew about this.

You are right subby.

Years of gourmet food at the country club will make his ass fat.

Breaking news aside, that's a hell of a headline. Good work, subby.

2011-12-07 02:09:33 PM
With his kind of breathtaking denial, I wouldn't be surprised if he refuses to admit he's in prison.

2011-12-07 02:09:36 PM
Rod didn't get the shaft on this, but he will.

Good.

2011-12-07 02:10:06 PM
I feel so bad for his daughters. As an Illinoisan though I say HA.

2011-12-07 02:10:15 PM
I submitted this with a * bleeping golden * better headline.

2011-12-07 02:10:21 PM
Good riddance, you thumb-dicked shiat sorceror.

Between this and Sandusky getting re-arrested, it's a bad day for bad guys. Who's next for a trifecta?

2011-12-07 02:11:26 PM
You know that Blag knows that Obama is a Kenyan, and is using a Social Security number that isn't his. Why wouldn't he sell Soetoro out? Guess he doesn't like death much.

I find it hard to believe (based solely on his public persona, of course) that he would honestly care about anyone besides himself (and his hair).

/hope that he's sent down to Marion

The schmuck deserves it for the way he rode the infamy wave for cash while scoffing at allegations.

Good riddance dirtbag.

Great hair BTW.

You know, you lose all faith in humanity, and then a tiny ray of sunlight like this peeks through the clouds of doom. Perhaps there is hope yet...but probably not.

meh, Im not apologist but 14 years is pretty harsh. I would have been happy with 5-6 or something.

"Black cherry", in the parlance of our times.

We should hang corrupt politicians from lamp posts and bridges... then maybe they would start to have some respect for "We the people"

coffee and beignets.

Aw man,... why'd you have to mention that... I'm no coffee person, but starting the day/nursing a hangover with some beignets and hot chocolate is a fantastic way to greet the day...

I do believe that Blago is our 4th governor to be put in jail, and our 2nd in a row

Perish the thought! How dare you suggest the Nobility, er, executives be subject to the same punishment as the Serfs, er, worker class, er, common people, er, average citizen.

Brother_Mouzone: meh, Im not apologist but 14 years is pretty harsh. I would have been happy with 5-6 or something.

I disagree. Political corruption charges should be carrying far more weight than ANY non-violent drug offenses or any "3 strikes" bullsh*t.

If anything, 14 is too little and DeLay (mentioned above) should still be in jail.

Indeed.

You'd think we Illinoisans would wise up and stop voting for people that were brought up in Chicago politics.

Why isn't the Senator he sold the seat to in prison for the same amount of time?
