I apparently live in a cave and really know fark all about this dude except for what I see on here, but he always does seem pretty decent on the clips I see.

He could have gone full douche and had Rock Meatslab the bouncer drag the mom back to her seat, but he played that pretty well..

Didn't seem like Buble was in on it. If he was, he's a much better actor than I would have expected.

I'd agree. The way his face lit up when he heard the kid sing for the first time seemed legit to me.

Seems like a nice enough guy.

But then I saw his fiance and I hate him again....

Buble is a fun word to say.

Buble, Buble Buble.

I'd like to think this wasn't a setup--he seems like a nice, sincere guy. I met him once at Channel 13's corporate offices in NYC a few years ago. OMG, he was the nicest guy (and absolutely drop-dead handsome).

Couldn't care less about his music. His wife on the other hand...

He's a pot smoker. I figure he's pretty mellow and pleasant. ;-)

If you were that good looking and (apparently) that charming AND you have a brilliant singing voice, what else would you expect?

Buble' seems like a really cool, nice guy. He also has a great voice. The only problem is the songs he sings. They're awful. Please no more "met you yet" crap. Anything but that junk.

Michael Buble is kickass because of two words:

Russian Unicorn.

/Wish it was actually him singing it though

I agree on the legitness of it, but Buble is actually not that bad of an actor if you judge his sketch with Jon Hamm on SNL...

Hamm and Buble (new window)

/Buble wins bonus points for life for this sketch...and Russian Unicorn

I first saw this on FARK a while back, but it was referenced in a thread. It didn't have one on its own.

And, to be fair, anytime someone finds a clip that is both awesome and involves a celebrity saying 'holy sh*t balls' it should have its own thread.

/wish I'd thought to submi this

The kid is British, Buble is Italian-Canadian, according to Wikipedia (I've actually never heard of him). It's not impossible that they're related, just not likely.

how could he tell how good he was just from half a line? i thought it wasn't that great,
but when he sang the rest, sure it was good.

from the headline, i was half expecting for Buble to go off on her like "F*** you. No. No m'am. your kid is not coming up here. I don't give a sh*t"
that would've been cool,
but this was cooler.

good find, subby.

what accent was Buble trying to sing that in? irish Jamaican?

There was an interview with Buble the other night on 60 Minutes, (after the killer "Let's throw all those banking guy in jail" segment), and he seemed exactly like he seems here--just a very nice guy. He worked hard to get where he's at now. Not surprisingly, no one thought there was much of a market for a guy who sang old crooner songs.

His grandfather got him started and stood by him every step of the way, and now here he is.

/Don't really care if it was a set-up. He's an entertainer, and the audience loved it.
