He's right. Which is exactly why that form of government is wrong for America.

"Yeah baby, I'm the one who made Mitt Romney filthy rich. Boo ya!!"

"What do you mean, you don't want to vote GOP? Aren't we speaking your language?"

2011-12-07 12:34:56 PM
That could make a very nice 'out of touch' ad.

Newt Gingrich also invented split-pea soup and bowling shoes.

I thought Mitt Romney's dad made Mitt Romney rich.

Apparently the battle is on to see who can out-dick the other.

Newt Gingrich is a textbook example of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He immediately takes offense at a simple question, and has no qualms taking credit for everything under the sun.

Yet, he can't succeed at establishing a basic relationship with a person, thus three wives. I'm sure #3 is a subservient Stepford woman who worships the ground he walks on.

2011-12-07 12:51:40 PM
For once, he's telling the absolute truth.

2011-12-07 12:54:21 PM
Newt reminds me of me. Pretty intelligent, but so full of shiat. He'll argue the wrong side of an argument just to see if he can do it. What a dick.

From what his campaign staff that quit following the Gingrich's Greek cruise said, she's a manipulative biatch.

Favorited under "What a honest dick" :P

Romneny got rich but I didn't get rich.
I thought government picking winners and losers was wrong for the country. Gingrich picked the winners and losers.
Gingrich is wrong for the country.

No wonder santorum keeps showing up at the debates. Also, that Rick guy.

I'm getting really sick of Newtie-Poo always attacking the person asking the questions. It happens at pretty much every debate he is in, and now almost every interview. Does that appeal to his base or something? Are republicans really averse to answering questions? Are inquisitive people liberal marionettes whose strings are connected to Fartbongo?

highbrow45: I thought Mitt Romney's dad made Mitt Romney rich.

I thought it was buying American companies and outsourcing the jobs internationally. Largely enabled from Reagan to Clinton (with the Newtster behind the scenes)

Sometimes santorum shows in the strangest places.

Wow, Gingrich might be the greatest American ever. We must all bow to his towering intellect.

I noticed this too, anytime a question that would shine this turd in a band light are asked, suddenly he blames "liberals".

What a turd. I hope he gets the nomination. That will be one fun shiat-show.

So then by the same logic he takes credit for those living below the poverty line too?

2011-12-07 01:08:05 PM
I cant wait for Mitt to respond, he can either argue that;
A) Reagan's supply side economics did INDEED help his father get filthy rich (while cutting down the middle class and bringing thousands into poverty during the 80s (its all documented)... OR
B) Reagan's policies DIDNT help and his father made his money despite and not because of those policies, which he may argue (correctly) were bad for economy as a whole.

/either way, the Grinch is correct in taking credit for pushing supply side economics

2011-12-07 01:08:31 PM
So government can make you rich? And it wasn't possible to get rich during the Reagan years?

Gee Newt, I thought it was only the private sector, and the Reagan era was a paradise in which money was heaped upon the titans, who then trickled it down on the rest of us grateful serfs.

He comes off more like a high-functioning sociopath to me.

His speech is glib, and he's overflowing with shallow charm. He refuses to take any responsibility for the errors in his life, instead blaming them on external forces and he's demonstrated no real remorse either. He's used people as stepping stones to power and personal pleasure his entire life.

Honestly, the guy is dangerous.

Whereas Newt makes his money by stealing it from charities. Pops (new window)

Fun filled Fact: Newt actually used Tom Delay as a character witness!

/I hope Newt gets the GOP nod.
//For the lulz.

LarryDan43: So then by the same logic he takes credit for those living below the poverty line too?

Yes but fark them. If you haven't noticed "fark the Poor" is actually an official GOP plank these days.

Yes, it does appeal to his base. Remember, liberals are incompetent, empty suit idiots who relentlessly attack America and anyone who holds conservative beliefs (because conservatives are defending America). In that context, Newt is saying, "Look, you're being totally unreasonable, ugly, and attacking me, but I'll lower myself and deign to enlighten you, since you're all idiot children who need to be told how the real world works." It feeds into his arrogance perfectly.

2011-12-07 01:19:40 PM
Yeah, and he also should take credit for the policies and ideology that caused many a middle class family to be hovering around the poverty line these days...

But as long as the old, rich white guys made out OK, I guess that's all that matters.

Well fark. I agree with Newt on something...

Look, dickbrain - you can be the one asking the questions, or you can be the one answering them. Not both. Who do you think you are, Don Rumsfeld?

I can't really watch Youtube at work, but I'm not sure I want to know what the dumbass actually said. What's this noise about Newt attacking the interviewer, though?

Didn't Mittens' company make it's money buying up financially distressed businesses ,laying all the employees off and liquidating their assets?

So Mitt and his family were not rich before Reagan? As a former resident of Michigan, the state where Mitt's daddy was governor, I find this to be a bit suspect. (new window)
